The summer of 2005, while up in the Crivitz area, I lost all satellites for 45 minutes and we were having a clear day and I was in an open field. When I got back home I told a co-worker about the situation and they said while out 4-wheeling up there the same weekend, the samething happened.

I guess it has to do with the position of the satellites in the sky and there are occasions when they orbit too low in the sky and we just can’t pick them up.

Where are the Mythbusters when you need them??

It’s used for wireless systems as a router to boost signal. Can be used along with the moden I guess..but my house is so small I don’t need it and I received a modem/router from the IP.

I have tried repeatedly also with no results. Ticked me off with a cache down in Florida.. I put my BunnyFuFu TB I got from T&tb and the cache supposedly went missing which I relaly doubt, but the owner never went to check and if it were there I wanted the TB back. Short drive with the NUTZ wagon on that issue.

I do believe it will be Me, Digital Dan & Mr. & Mrs benny7210. I’m up in Crivitz Friday to Sunday (at Camp Catch-a-Cache LOL) Then meeting up at the Event. Guess we should put in our RSVP.

Not sure how fast I will be by then, since I just got home last nite from Aurora BayCare after having a Cardiac Cath. Should be back up to par by them though!

I’ll be in my tent.. somewhere… as far as I know! LOL I have an 8-man tent that sleeps 4 comfortably. I don’t mind the tent camping at all…except when it REALLY cold out.
