While you may think 127 (now 131) is a sad turnout, it is better than before.
I agree with ya on that Ruth. Still…. people don’t even have to leave the comfort of their homes and can vote at 2am in their Jammies. Unlike a primary election for governmental officials. Just makes me wonder sometimes if people just don’t wish to participate or are visiting the site and not noticing. Don’t know how they can’t notice with the spread on the first page. LOL I guess it’s like opening the refrigerator….Nope.. nothing there .. and it’s right in front of your nose LOL I’ve done THAT before, myself!! 😀
127 is a rather sad turnout. Hmmmm wonder how we can get MORE members to vote or get the word out to them. Maybe ont this year but up and coming years. I’ll add that to my “Honey-do” list!
Welcome welcome!! Great area you live in for caches! You’ll have plenty to keep you busy!
Cache On!!
I guess I could say that not only am I one to look at the whole picture, but I think outside of the box, though many see that a waste of time, but it does help to be more creative to things we can do. Also, I like the details and I multi-trask for the fun of it!! LOL
I really thought hard about going out there to cache, but I opted to go shopping at Cabelas instead!! Did my Geocaching in there LOL
I can read French, Ralph, and have been to France, Germany, Holland, Belguim and England. Of course that was WELL before Geocaching was born!! DARNIT!!! But I’m game to go!!
I wanted to visit costa Rica this year. They have 7 caches..hidden int he rain forests adn all are quite the hike!!
Also looking at going to Tanzania, hopefully. I think there are 7 or 8 caches going up Kilamanjaro!! THAT I would love to do!!
Wow… a lot of really creative sayings. It was tough to pick just one!! Maybe we can create a trackable CUBE and have 6 different sayings… I usually think OUTSIDE of the box, but now I’m thinking… A box!!
Standard ZippyLocks don’t hold up very well. I use a heavier one… I mean I WOULD use a heavier one and wrap it in camo tape. Not like “I” would EVER make a container up like that. 😀
Here’s my list:
- * Warm boots with boot warmers!
* Chaps…cause Jeremy suggested them and NOW I got a pair!
* Digging Device
* Extra pencils, since pens don’t write in the cold and the ones in the caches are nubs by now.
* Layer, Layer, Layer…just as I do when I cross counrty ski
* Pre-read logs to see if there are issues when there is NO snow.
* My current phone-a-friend list for faster finds.
* Several pairs of extra gloves..they’ll get wet
* Lots of change for coffee stops
* Extra cash for after caching dinner & a couple Leinies Red
* Avoid Marcs Cemetary caches, `cause I can’t find `em even when there’ NO snow. LOL Sorry Marc!!There must be more, but I’m so cold I can’t think of anything else!
Thanks for all you have done over the years Brian!! Hope to see you on the trails more often now, though you do have a busier life.
Way to go!! Not a handle I am familiar, but hope to see more of soon! Almost to that 1/2 way mark. Keep on caching!

By my count, there is interest from 6 people for buying the plates to this point.
Only 6 people because we are the only ones discussing the point. I have a feeling that a whole lot of people are NOT reading this deep into this threat and adding opinions, because it IS for the candidates.
Just an opinion……beat me with a paddle later!! LOL 😆
Boy…. I’d love to help on this one, but I still have issues of my own!
I like the last version also… Great idea all `round. I know I’d grab up a couple.
