    I put out 2 caches up here in Two Rivers that sat for over a week, til someone finally got them. Heck, I drove my 600 miles for my event {What an idiot I am … sheesh..but of course Digital_Dan was jsut as nutz for going with LOL}… you coulda come up to visit the “Home of the Ice Cream Sundae”, stop by and say “HI” and get 2 FTF’s

    They’ll have more of these adventures, I am sure. I’m keeping my eyes open!!

    Yup I will. Watching the game from a distance to see how they are doing it. It’s called HOt Potato and quite the run around. Want to try something here like that but be able to give creadit for the finds. More info as it evolves.

    You can watch it via their Hot Potato Bug using this TB # 539026. Its how they are tracking the game and points and man… it sounds complicated, but I am going to ask how they did it and modify it for up here!! Will psot something at the begining of the new year to see if there is anyone else who want to help, etc!

    My most recent confession:

    I just got home this morning from drove 608 mile round trip drive to Iowa, with Digital_Dan, to get an event for my final piece of the CoinQuest competition, just to win a coin that isn’t even Trackable!Was up for almost 24 hrs now have to be to work at noon.

    Oh we also did 19 caches yesterday, but I’ll have to get back to you later on some of the anticts from THAT adventure and the previous outing. Dan says that everytime we go caching I’m out for blood……HIS!! LOL

    Yes I did, THANX!! Man.. what a day yesterday. Was up at 0430(am) to leave for Menomonee Falls to get a moring full of caches with Digital_Dan, my life saver and driver. LOL Got in 19 caches in the area, froze to death, then got back to DD’s house, (His wife thinks we are insane) thawed out and left for Iowa at 1500(3p). Got to Davenport at 1815(615p), ate, then the event at 1900. Stuck around there til 2030, swapped coin #’s with the coolest group of Iowa/Illinois cachers. You should have seen them when they heard that the coinquest was the reason I was there. NO caches in Iowa?? Nope. Just the event! Also learned of a pretty neat game they are playing using caching. Something I want to try up here for some added fun and caches claims.

    We got back to Waukesha at 0015 this morning, but I didn’t attempt the next 1.5 hr drive home and just stayed with the Digital family LOL. Got home here in Two Rivers at 0930…. now I gotta go to work at noon. Basically up for almost 24hrs… it was WORTH IT!! I’d do it again! Thank you for mentioning this game!!! {{{HUGGLES}}}

    Just logged my final cache on CoinQuest and I DID IT!! Dan was happy to go with too… he got to claim another state and swapped a WI coin for an Iowa coin!!

    I’m not exactly thrilled with the extended trip I need to take, but chances are that I amy NOT be able to make the breakfast, sooooooo…. here I go on a day trip, but will get some caches in on the way. Should be interesting getting home at 0200 and having to work that day. You’ll get you coin Pharmteam.. I have faith in ya!!

    in reply to: Lets all work together as one. #1760096

    I agree Brian…. it’s working together as a team, as a family. Of course families do have conflicts, but issues can easily be resolved. The new year is coming, a new season of caches, newbies coming into the sport, new ideas, concepts, places and way to hide. So many things for ALL of us to work on together. Our Board/Approvers have done an awesome job this year and I am looking forward to becoming even more involved with WGA goings-on, in 2006.

    Here’s to a great group of people Wisconsin cachers, ALL cachers for that matter, and here is to an exciting new year to come!!

    Cheers!!

    PS If this feels like a group hug moment and you’re not into that…this is for you!!
