That “Cave” one is a toughy. I ran into GizFinder yesterday and we tossed some ideas around. He suggested “Twelve Spooky Grottos” as falling into that catagory. Looking at what qualifies….it might be the edge but I’m going to use it. They are like lil shallow caves. Took some pics as a back up!! LOL.

The Event one is tough this time of year. and the 3digit one… sheesh.. nuthing up this way! I did A LOT of checking!

I can sympathize with all the concerns. I go by the placement of the cache and whether or not I have the extra money to go buy ammo boxes. LOL It was unfortunate that my “Fishin’ Hole” series offered too few spots to plant a micro, let alone an ammo box.

I don’t use the stickers on mine.. just write all over the place on it, stating what it is. I know that won’t help in city located caches, because an average person would be very suspicious. I know I would be. Really… what does a sticker of writing really ensure??

I guess just do what ya gotta do and find other types of large containers that might work. I am thinking of saving the HUGE coffee creamer containers I get for work, cammo taping that and see how it works. Just gotta us the `ol zippy lock bags as a safety net.

I recently adopted “Bucky’s Hideaway” GCKCQ6 and replaced the container with an ammo box and if my Dunes series EVER gets approved, there is one Large ammo box there too.

I enjoy the challenge of a micro hide, but it does get frustrating after a while, when you can’t find them…like yesterday…in the blowing snow… LOL

Got somewhat of a tally together, but just numbers. Working with marc_54140 for a format to put ALL stats together…… possibly!!!! We need to devise something different since the lists of actually states and WI counties is getting VERY long. This is what I have so for. Please feel free to continue to add counties to the list. Just let me know which one that might be OR the total number you are up to.

Just my 2 cents and going along with wooden_nickel’s comments . It doesn’t matter. It’s just conversation and interaction between cachers. Nice way to get to know your fello cache-a-holics. Some cache alone some cache as a team, yet cache alone, some always go with others. Just interesting to hear why people do what they do.

I cache alone a lot, but as it has been stated previously, a female in the woods alone can be very intimidating. Gotta get me some of that Pepper spray too. I enjoy caching with my buddy Digial_Dan, but he lives almost 100 miles away. My hubby has little to no interest. I have even cached with my “bog dog”, Hunter. He’s kind of a pain cause he needs to be on a leash and that leads to many tangled moments. So for me, it depends on the area I am caching in, and how I feel that day. Otherwise, I too, enjoy the solitude of the woods and a walk alone. It’s Thinkin’ time… or is it Miller time…or is it time to think about being Miller time. LOL
