I know “Glow in the Dark” & “Glow in the Dark II” in the Milwaukee area, are both like that. Did them both, enjoyed them both. REALLY yoo bad someone obsconded (s?) with the cache container for “II” though. That was so kewl!!

Geez.. a $25 fee!! A cacher could go broke doing something like that, if that were true. I voluntarily took the $35 a yr membership, but then again, it’s local to me and why not…..it goes towards the Dunes.
Can’t wait to get the information also. Put many minds at ease then!

Lisa,
At this point, your best course of action is to contact the rangers at the property you would like to use.
There are always some rules to follow, so it doesn’t hurt to ASK!!! If you get a “NO”, oh well… you asked!
I found an exception to a rule for the listing of the Wisconsin “Natural” areas. I had the exception actually COME TO ME!! The Woodland Dunes Nature Center is on that list, but it is privately owned by the Nature Center & its members, not the DNR and receives NO money except by private donations. The Exec. Dir. found me via a co-worker of mine and ASKED me if I would like to place caches along the 6 miles of trails.
There is no cost to visit and walk the natural area…strictly voluntary donations. I joined as a member as a way to say “THANKS” for letting myself and fellow geocachers utilize the area for our sport. I currently have 3 regular and one multi out, but they are not listed yet, as I am getting them all ready for submission..soon!! I will be using them for a Geocaching exhibit/Demo during OwlFest this coming weekend! Them I’m letting them LOOSE!! LOL

I had heard that it costs some $2000 to get a coin to show up as an icon. Was a reliable source, but I would til investigate for sure. I thought that if it cost that amount, add another $1 on the price of the coin and have it done!! I’d pay $7 for a coin.. no problem!
It’s ok Jeremy….. this stuff happens! Guess I’ll just have to have a 101 passwords to remember now LOL Other accts, of great importance, I don’t use anything close to that which I use for my geocaching stuff, but just have to have a separate ones for these two. At least the use of the same passowrd for the 2 sites kept the incident under control.
Thanks for all the help!!

Thanks for the memories.
Yeah I know I did. I missed a bunch of stuff. Next year I’ll have more stuff done ahead of time so I can have time to just socialize and get LOTS of good pics!! Always a learning experience with your FIRST hosted event!
OK………. NOW I got in!! Here’s what I found out. I apparently signed up for the WGA with a slightly different spelling than I use for Geocaching. On here I signed in as
cache boppin bunnyfufu
on the other
Cache_boppin_BunnyFuFuSoooooo make sure you are signed in JUST as you did originally when you signed as a member on the WGA not geocaching.com
If THAT doesn’t help.. then I just dunno!!!

Ok what’s the secret code LOL
That’s weird…..I wonder why some of us can’t. Things that make you go “Hmmmmm”
I’ll send an e-mail out to jvechinski. He’s our computer dude…. just in case he doesn’t catch this topic right away. I see whta you mean about the store. Hmmm.. tried a couple different things and NOTHING here either.
Which Website??
geocaching.com,
wi-geocaching.com or
groundspeak.com??I have never had an issue with the the WGA site unless it has been down, but it has been working just fine. If I forget and don’t use my “_” in my id then I get frustrated until I have that “DUH” moment and fix it. Therwise. I have only had problems, moreso, with geocaching.com, when the server gets heavy, like on a Sat. or Sun. evening.
PS Very clever ID BTW!!

In reply to this comment. I never intended to insinuate that caches should be handed to ppl. Was just a COMMENT stating that nothing have ever been handed to me, therefore why should a cache “LOL” it does take work and the reviewers are doing a great job!!!
