I mave a Magellin SporTrak Pro and it’s almost on with hubby’s car. Found that out when we were coming home from Kansas and looking for a close cache. Looked down and saw he was doing 78 in a 55 LOL Looked at the speedometer and it was pretty close. He wanted to know HOW I knew how fast he was going since I was saring at my GPS.. Told him I’m psychic!!

If people are keeping these things, you gotta wonder, “why??” They probably just have them stuffed in a shoe box in the closet or in a beer mug on the shelf. Something tells me that THOSE who keep TB’s and coins are just casual cachers, keep them because they think THAT’s what they are suppose to do… a gift. I bet they don’t even know anything about statewide caching associations like the WGA that would give them insight on their wrong-doings.

I have to agree.. it is frustrating. My TB…. I got the whole stealing thing and no info issue all wrapped up. For those of you who have see it, you know why .All the issues with coins & bugs being taken and kept, miss-directed and poorly put together, just TICKS me off.

Any way to add an electronic tracking device that if it is taken and kep over a certain length of time, we can find it and make it SELF distruct????? Well.. self distruct with a little help LOL

My phobia depends on my state of mind for the day, I think. One day I’m fine and another day I get freaky over it. I think the biggest issue is that being female and out alone in places where my cell doesn’t pick up. So, mine mostly when a lone.

    1) Thik grass way over my head gets me feeling a bit un-nerving.
    2) I’m with the web thing… when no one there to squish the HUGE spiders that go with them.
    3) Again, when alone, those back woods, swampy areas that look like something from “Deliverence”

Thanks for all your input everyone. It is a Magellan SporTrak Pro. Digital Dan got it working. Ended up deleting all WPT’s and setting up all over again.

Wheeeeeewh!! That was easier than I thought.

    Thanks again to all!!!!!

I like the event button, but then again I collect buttons and pins. I agree that a general GeoCachng button has a higher trading value, but I like STUFF that is a rememberence.

Have seen some awesome logos from other states. Any good drawers out there? If I had the time, I’d love to submit some ideas! Have to see what I can do, just for the heck of it. Who says we have to have just one either! Could have a cartoon style a more childlike and a formal. Hmmm creative juices flowing now!

    Thanks.

She should be OK…. Bring her along. I am not briniging mine cause all he does is bark. He’s staying at his grandmas house LOL All my Moms grand kids are 4 legged.

Putting out more caches come the 8th of Sept. Hope to have at least one of the hopeful 3 nite caches out. Having great difficulty with NO GPS signal in a couple of parks. Was not the only ones though. A co-worker was up Nord at on a previous weekend and had no signal while out 4-wheelin’ Hope we don’t have the same problems again on the 8th or come event time.

Since this appears to be a smaller group, I will put a list on the cache page of items we’d think would go well with the Brat & Dog cookout Saturday nite.

(Coutresy of Dan, myself & Cher-make Sausage)

I’ll have that out shortly as well as up and coming info for coords!
