  • About “Pictures” of what we are up against. I don’t know of any in exisitance, but if you send a message to those who have already gone on this one (via geocaching.com) I am sure they may be able to help out. I know one of our fellow cahcers mentioned he had probelms with an ankle, but he was ok to go on it.

Anyone is welcome to come, with or without a GPS. There should be enough GPSr’s around that we can share and show any new comers to the sport, how it’s done. We can can team up with whomever. Something we can discuss before we go out.

We will be making a list of “THINGS we each should have to bring” and bring what ya can. I’m sure there is always somthing extra to pass around. I have a total of 4 walking stick type apparatise, so I know I will have a tleast 2 extra for someone who needs.

So sign up, don’t be shy, the more the marrier… ad remember, we decided Sunday MAY 1

OFFICIAL DATE CHOSEN – WE ARE ATTACHING THE GAUNTLET ON SUNDAY, MAY 1, 2005

I didn’t realize there was another event going on and so close to home AND I’m actually off for a change. I’m gonna have to make a weekend of it!!

All those who are seriously interested in attaching “The Gauntlet” on May 1, please get in contact with me, via e-mail, by no later than Sunday, April 24. The SOONER the BETTER!! This way we can work on transportation issues, meeting place, and all the other good caching stuff. We are not sure if this would be something we would attempt in the rain, but we can discuss that too.

So…. for those interested, chat with ya soon AND possibly see you Pre-Gauntlet on Saturday April 30th at the “Secrets of Stonehaven Event” That can be our warm-up! LOL

Heck, maybe we could launch a “second assault” on Sunday for those who couldn’t come on Saturday. I would just want to make sure at least one other person was there so someone could point the authorities to my body . It might be tough going after this one following all the hiking that we’ll be sure to do at Stonehaven (40 temps!)… but I’m up for a challenge.

Cacherchick… I didn’t see that link that LighteningBugs Mum put on here. Just click on those call letters and it will take ya there.

Ok.. after deep discussion with Digital_Dan. It seems that Saturday, April 30th is the date we are going for. Due to work and previous plans, I am a bit limited on weekends. Is a Sunday date OK for anyone of you who are interested????
