Was that what sidelined you for the camp-out Zuma? Bad reaction to a Lyme Vacine?

    j/k

nah, now that it is up over $4.00, people will finally get off their asses about alternative fuel sources and put the money into getting the infastructure in place for hydrogen or other alternatives (corn is NOT the answer)….we have the technology. we have the resources, we just need the big companies to get on board to bring down costs. Which they won’t do if people are happy buying their fossil fuels.

Look at how many car commercials are pimping their “hybrids” and electrics now that gas is up…. same tech they’ve had for a few years, but not a money cow enough to push it. Now that “regular joes” give a crap, those Prius sales are gonna explode!

All the ones I have seen this year, including the one attached to his ear were wood ticks though, so not as much concern about lyme disease with those.

I got to pull one out of my nephews ear on the last day of the camp-out…. He was latched in there pretty good too. I never saw a tick all weekend, except fro the dozen or so I kept pulling off of him before they could latch….I guess he is the opposite polarity of you. 🙂

Careful, if you guys get too heated in here…. you will melt the grand prize…

There is a newer one near Oshkosh called “right in Planeview” that sees a nice traffic flow of TB’s.

Every time I stop by there are around a half dozen movers, and nothing stagnates there….and there are no “rules” governing trades and it seems to be working just great.

Now THAT is an impressive Milestone! I just applied for Bronze myself, but Platinum looks like it will be a few years away:) Thanks for making it appear attainable!

I also just turn off the compass on my Garmin… unless I need it to pull a compass heading or something and I don’t have my regular old compass with me…

Hey don’t worry about me!:) I wasn’t complaining, I was just letting Cheesehead Dave know why we couldn’t get it to work.

Knowing it is a newer unit, I should have made sure I was up to date on the software for it. I don’t expect you guys to bend over backwards and know how every unit works or connects, that was on me to have figured out.

The fact that Dave was willing to try 4-5 different times with a few different configurations, was more than could have been asked for. You guys did a top notch job with everything and like I said…..you won’t hear me complaining:)

Glad I ran into you guys a few times on the trails! congrats on the milestone and good luck towards the next few thousand!

I know there are only two people at the event who care about this but it was driving me nuts…..

To load GPX files on the Garmin Colorado from GSAK, you need a special GSAK macro especially for it. No wonder we couldn’t get it working.

But thanks for all the efforts:) I just focused on the perms more is all:)
