  • I can remember a time recently when they were going to start charging for placing geocaches in parks in Brown County…or something like that. And we had a excellent group of individuals attend the meeting and “defend geocaching” within (at least) Brown County.

The meeting time and date was posted in a forum and multiple (myself not included) people went to the county meeting.

    Thank You. 😆

This was a great event. There were so many people at the event that we were hoping to meet, but it happened and was over so fast that we didn’t have any time.

Our favorite was before the event playing “Who’s a cacher, who’s a muggle” Very Funny…Thanks Giz!

    Perfect cache for our #500!

Ours would be “Lost In Josten” in Green Bay by Gibonacci. It is a great multi-cache. If you haven’t done it yet I would HIGHLY recommend it.

We also met up with TKKS for the first time doing this cache.

I don’t only look for caches that haven’t been found, but it is nice to be the first one to find something, because if you think about it only the first to find finds the cache just how the owner intended it to be hidden.

If there is a cache that hasn’t been found in a while, that isn’t a red flag for me. I take it as a challenge. For example, there was one cache I found this summer, that someone wrote…DON’T TRY AND FIND IN THE SUMMER. Because of thorns and more bushwhacking. If I know it is there, and it hasn’t been found in a long time, it is excited to say that “I found it”

However, that can open up a whole different discussion on the importance of logging DNFs!

    Well Done, Keith!

Cacher of the Month is a very interesting idea.

What time is this meeting? I only can see the May Calendar on their website.

Thank you to all who are putting work into gathering information to help shoot this ridiculous idea down!!
