I love multicaches (that are well maintained)!
Numbers aren’t a huge priority to me. I find just as much joy in find one well done multicache (for example Bible Accuracy in Milwaukee) as I do making 20 in a day (for example West Besd – pick any 20). I enjoy both…it depends on who I am caching with. Some of my family enjoys a long hunt, others want constent finds.
The major thing for me is that it is maintained, and well laid out. That applies in all forms of caches (trad, multi, puzzle)
Great job!! Why did it have to be published on Monday? Why is it not a snow day today so I can go get it?
Thanks for your work.
We are comparing a Nuvi 200 and a TomTom 125.
Does anyone have any info comparing either? Both are selling for about $100 on Black Friday!
Thanks in advance for your help.
Probably around twenty. I try to solve the puzzles in the areas that I will travel to. Most of the time I don’t have time to find them all so they just stay in my puzzle folder.
#1 on my list of solved but unfound is “Lateral Thinking” down in Milwaukee. I have visited ground zero twice, but it has been missing both times. Grrr
In the winter, not only do I solve puzzle, but I find them. I LOVE WINTER CACHING!! (maybe I should start a thread on that 😀 )
$1.99 in Green Bay this morning!

Congrats on a nice milestone, marc!!
I also offer my congratulations!
If you need any help in the placement of these caches just let us know. Thanks for your work on this.
$2.25 in Green Bay this morning. Can we make it under two dollars??

don’t let it go to your head…
I would not even put us close to any where near that company. We are just a couple of teachers who try to find some time each week for caching. We know our place… 🙂
Does anyone know who these cachers are? their geocaching name? are they newbies or veterans?
WOW, two pages of Congratulations!! The only cacher who gets that kind of treatment is zuma. Now we are in GREAT company!!

As long as we are venting on this issue. My problem with my GPS (eXplorist 210…I know, but it still finds caches) is that if two or more caches have basically the same name (for example, another walk in the park 1 through 4327), then it automatically deletes all but one, because it thinks it is a duplicate.
Does anyone know how to fix this? a solution that doesn’t cost money?
I don’t know if I ever noticed this problem on the 210, are you loading using the Magellan geocache manager software or GSAK?
I use the Megellan software. But I could use GSAK. I use GSAK with my Palm so I can do paperless.
I have never heard of unique cache names? How is that done?
Go into GSAK. Click on Tools, Options. Smart name fields in lower right. Change to 6 characters.
Then Click Display. Find smart Names field, and put a check mark in it. Then Click OK.
Smart Name will show on the display screen, along with cache names, etc. You can move the field to any spot in the line up by click and dragging.
Come to my Paperless class to find out more!
Thanks marc for the walkthrough. I “think” I know most stuff about going paperless. But I will definitely keep my eyes open for one of your classes.
Thank you to everyone. It is nice being part of the “club” Or as marc would say, making the bar a little more crowded. Who are these people?? From what I can gather, we are the 149th cacher in Wisconsin who is the 1K Club.
Not only were we able to get our 1000th cache, but also our 100th puzzle on the same cache.
