Interesting fact marc. But 49 miles! Who drives forty-nine miles on vacation while they are pushing for a milestone.
I prefer this fun fact…there were 154 caches within 3 miles of my ground zero!! 😀 I did have a few other puzzles solved I just didn’t get a chance to find them.
I am just happy to be sitting 100 caches away from the millennium club!
Thanks for the post marc! There aren’t too many puzzles down in Texas. However, we were able to get a FTF on a puzzle down in Texas that no one solved for two weeks. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GC1DMVT
There are a TON of caches in Texas. To bad some of them are in parking lots…good for numbers though! We are back in Green Bay, but it was a nice place to quickly rack up numbers! I think we did 63 in about a week. Not a ton among some standards I have seen…or one day in West Bend 😀
Here is another good cache down there…notice HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE WATCHING IT!! http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GCEB29
Great work frizz! It must be a week for milestones, hopefully this week we will hit 900!
Way to go Keith…Congrats on number 1000. I hope to join you guys up there some day…hopefully soon!
I would be willing to help out with this project, but I don’t have the time to head it up.
Way to go Frizz…WOW 900!

Maybe the rule of “distance between” caches could be less so in smaller parks we could have 2-3 caches vs. just one. I too look for caches that I can bike to or drive then bike. I know it isn’t about quantity, but the more I can hunt for in one area the better while gas prices are so high.
I don’t think a super saturation of caches is a great idea. Maybe more people should archive some caches…and replant some better ones. I know that that has been brought up on these forums before, but I think it is a great idea. Archive 25% of your caches…for example if we have 200 caches in Green Bay that means that 50 would be out and FIFTY NEW CACHES PLANTED!
Palm Advice?? I am surprised to see that so many people do paperless caching.
I am almost embarrassed to tell which one I use…oh well, who am I trying to impress?!?
I use the good ‘ole Palm Zire…not the Zire 21, 31, 72, or whatever numbers that can come after…just the original. Black and White screen…but it works great with Cachemate, and it does what I want it to do and NOTHING more! I think they are actually giving them away on eBay… 😀
Thats my two cents…I need to save up my pennies and put them into gas money. There will be no upgrades in our near future.
I would definitely be in favor of a podcast. The only question I would have would be the amount of unique material available. It would be nice to have one specific to Geocaching in Wisconsin.
Maybe a forum thread about topics could help to get the ball rolling. It wouldn’t have to be as long some of the other podcasts that are available. Just a place for local cachers to give input and such…
Great Idea! 😀
It is always great to see a fellow Green Bay Cacher hit a milestone. Congrats on #100!
Addicted cachers in Green Bay?? NAH! OBSESSED!!
I LOVE my eXplorist 210! It has all the features that I need…including the most important…IT FINDS CACHES! It is cheap, durable, and very easy to use.
You can have your color screens and what not!
Congrats Keith! 1000 is just around the corner. Can’t wait to get back on the trail! 😀 😀

I also don’t think our “new” logo should resemble other states. Here is the Washington State Logo…
Just my opinion
