Word of advise for Poison Ivy….. take showers (if possible) after caching. Even in contact with Ivy, you do have about 24 hours to prevent the rashes and itching from happening.

Patience is a virtue! Please keep in mind that reviewers are volunteers, most likely have a full time job and they have a life too. Ain’t there something that states when you publish a cache that it may not get “published” right away. It may take up to a week. Maybe a better approach would be asking the reviewers by email if there is a problem with the cache instead of bashing them in public.

    Just my 2 cents worth.

My first cache was an OPS cache in which I realized was no longer there…. Well, now there is one there 😀 http://coord.info/GC3F3KM

I go to Rogans for my hiking shoes. Buy 1 get one half price. Yesterday, my daughter and I got a new pair of Merrills for our Colorado trip. 150 for both pairs.

My first cache is no longer there (OPS cache) but I just realized, there is an empty space by my house now for a cache….. Hmmmmmm!

Wish I could’ve cached this weekend but I was studying for midterms all weekend! Spring break starts 10:50 friday and I have RAC calling my name for Satyrday, (taking a college group there).

Personally, I prefer Merrill for hiking shoes and boots. They are the most comfortable for my feet. When breaking in my boats and shoes and when ever I do alot of hiking, I will always rub any spots prone to blisters with vitamin E lotion. Been doing that for 2 years and have never had any more blisters since I started doing that.

There is an antique store next to the Military Surplus store plus an antique store across the street. I believe it is on Wisconsin St downtown Tomahawk.

Was in Tomahawk today looking at a new smoker and I decided to go to the Tomahawk Military Surplus store and holy cow they have some nice ammo cans! Reg size around $12, almost Jim size at 18 and some freakin Jim size at 22 dollars. Thought I’d get the message out since they are gettin expensive.

Leave No Trace will be there again this year with a bigger crew. We may (fingers crossed) even have the Traveling Trainers from Boulder Colorado at this one.
