It all depends on what I am going to do with the wires. If I was to use it for installing a ceiling fan or hardwire a smoke detector, then I would use red, but if I were going to use it for a fourway switch application, then I would use blue wire.
Depending on course work load, I maybe game for this one. I may need to borrow snow shoes though. This sounds like a blast.
Cheesehead,
Personally, even though this is not new, I feel that the best approach is word of mouth. It takes good, respected cachers like yourself, to talk to newer cachers and older cachers who do not know of WGA to best promote WGA.
Hiding a large container out in the urban areas can be tricky. My best answer to this would be to get permission from a local establishment in which the container would match the surroundings.
Having a big salad! What’s in the salad I haven’t decided yet. But I am sure there will be a cpl beers in the mix!
Thank you for the question. The main four, LCG, Chili Lunch, Spring Campout and Fall picnic I am planning on attending. CITO’s, while I fully support them, I will not be able to attend all of them. One reason why is when I have to put on my Leave No Trace Trainer’s Course, Summer Camp with my son or my daughter’s Super Event for her Venture Crew. This year, as a non-board member, I volunteered to help out with the Campout.
As a board member (if elected), I will support and promote the WGA 100%. Events I cannot attend I plan on still helping out rather if its getting out geocaching lnt hand tags or by giving out moral support. Also, I am in the progress of helping my daughter plan her 2nd CITO Event which will be sometime in June.
I hope this answers your question and I am 100% sure that no matter who you vote for, they will do a bang up job!
congrats
In the name of politics, controversy will always be around. That’s a given. However, it’s how you react to the controversy that will make you or break you. If I had a good idea that I personally felt that it would better the way we do things, then yes, I would champion the idea to hopefully convince enough people to vote for the idea. Likewise, if an idea comes across that I would personally see as unethical, then again yes, I would stand up against that idea.
It all boils down that one has to stand up for what he or she thinks is right. Not simply being a puppet because it is easier to do than to be a man and stand up for what you believe in.
Yes, if voted, I will play nice with the other BOD’s, but again, if an issue comes around that I feel strong about, then I would exercise the right to strongly object or agree on the issue.
congrats
I won’t tell anyone you fell through! No one will need to know! 😆

This is going to be quite a group! CNT hasn’t chimed in, but I’l be picking him up on the way also.
Umm, I chimed in last page. This should be a blast. Looking forward to this! See you all tomorrow!
Quite frankly, every candidate running for the BOD are all well qualified candidates. NO matter who gets enough votes, the WGA will continue to improve. As for myself, my entire “platform” runs on Outdoor Ethics. With the explosion of geocaching, Outdoor Ethics is a huge concern in the conservation arena. Believe me, the public is not blind on this great activity. However, this activity can come with a bad rap. The WGA has done alot of good with advocating CITO’s across the state. This is good. Yet, there are other areas in which we need improvements on. Example- invasive species. If I am not mistaken, cache placements have been limited because of this. How does these invasive species gets transmitted from one place to another? How can we limit this impact? That is where Leave No Trace and Outdoor Ethic Education comes into play! As a Leave No Trace Master Educator and Wisconsin State Advocate, I bring to the table the knowledge, skills, and connections to handle these issues. I may not be the best planner, or have all the geocaching answers to every question, but Awareness. This outdoor awareness iswhat I do have is a high passion to promote Outdoor Ethic something that is in the WGA Bylaws.
Thank you!
I am goin to try to make it. This is my last weekend off before school starts for me on Monday. This sounds like a blast!
