This could be a good opportunity to work with the land managers for this Hackmatack National Wildlife Refuge.

Pretty certain one of my ammo cans was discovered and taken by a hunter due to its location. I was actually glad they left the contents bagged at the site.
I have a few LARGE ammo cans now but not sure how they will be utilized in the field. Chains, Cables, Barbed wire, C4, Field Camera, Padlocks, big dogs….
I have 2 very huge ammo cans also out there. One is for a multi and another is for a short series. Both ammo cans are locked to a tree.
I had to archive the entire grid for my battleship series in Wausau because someone kept taking all the caches on one stretch of road. Plus an ammo can at one of the ships was replaced by a Cache To eagle Cache container. I personally know how frustrating it is when a cache is stolen!
noob!

“Rehide better” in this case included carving a niche in the bark with a knife, cutting all the way through the bark to the sapwood. I can’t believe that anyone would believe that this is “the way this game is suposed to be played.”
I was sickened by this cacher’s actions.Cutting all the way into the bark to the sapwood is just plain senceless! Cutting into the tree is the same! But I think that is for a different subject.
Sounds like a cacher from my neck of the woods.
Council Grounds State Park is also a great park. Nice beach, great fishing, lots a caches, right next to Merrill, WI. Not as crowded as many other state parks.
Not doing this one saturday.
congrats
