Way to go Alan! Your last hundred have come almost as fast as the misquito hatch. Happy caching!
Pat & BobAhhhh…the first one hundred. As someone once told us, “and it still has that new car smell” Congratulations and keep it up!
Pat & BobCongrats Uncle Fun! Here’s to many more milestones along the way.
Pat & BobWay to go Brew! And a CTF cache at that! Looks like we have another volunteer to Team Badger. Congratulations from the two of us.
Pat & BobWooo-Hooo! Jeff is making the milestones like crazy. We see 1000 coming soon! And he can probably tell you the day he will hit it. Congratulations to a great cacher and great friend.
Pat & BobOne of my favorites is Wyalusing S.P. The only negative is location, as it is in the far S.W. corner of the state. Still, it’s a great park that meets all our needs. How centralized do we want to stay?
BobCongratulations to the sisters of geocaching, Linus and Lucy. The two of you have really been posting the finds. We think it’s great to have each other there to share your enjoyment. Here’s to the next hundred. Happy Caching!
Pat & BobThanks for the concern Russ. We have been “river rats” here in Silver Lake, along the Fox, for the past 14 years. We have only once seen the river this high in all that time, back in 91. As of today the water level is at that same height, but it is still rising and expected to continue for a couple more days. With more rain in the forecast, the situation will probably get worse. Residents just a short distance up and down river from us are already underwater, but we are safely high and dry as of now. I have estimated we have about 2 to 2.5 ft. of elevation yet before the water reaches our foundation, and another 18 inches for it to get inside the house. Flood forecasts only have the water cresting another 1.5 feet higher that it is now, so it looks like we have plenty of room for error. (Now if I can only get Pat’s confidence as high.) Besides I already had my disaster for the month. Returning home from the campout Sat. nite I hit a deer on Hwy 10. Actually the deer hit me, but he didn’t stay around to file the police report. Luckily it only caused minor damage ($1200 worth) to the car, and I was able to drive home. I also figure I’ve gotten a free heart check as a bonus. I’ve temporarly disabled my Silver Fox cache, as it seems to be submerged. Thanks for the heads up Russ. Here’s a few pics of around the neighborhood.

Congrats Marc. looks like one thousand is in view now. Way to go.
Pat & BobCongrats to the penguin, or is that penquin? Either way it’s a great milestone. Now on to the next hundred.
Pat & BobCongrats from the two of us! Here’s to the next hundred.
Pat & BobCongratulations from us as well! Your pace is quite an achievement in itself. Wave at us all as you fly by. By the time we get this posted we’ll be congratulating you on 700. Way to go!
Pat & BobCongratulations Russ! We are glad you choose to do a few of ours along the way. And we won’t let your navy background prejudice us. After all, you’re General of the Army now.
Pat & BobI’d like to echo Cashew & WZBT’s sentiments as well. The event was well done and I wish to express my sincere appreciation for all the hard work that went into it. Thanks to all who made it possible.
BobCongratulations to our buggiest cacher!
