I too have just begun attempting the paperless cache trail. I attempted to try Spinner/Plucker but never got Plucker to run correctly. It’s not exactly a user friendly program (IMHO), but then I’m not exactly a computer wiz either. Then a friend (thanks Marty ) showed me CacheMate. Easy to set up, and easy to load GPX files. I will be trying it out for the first time this weekend, provided my PDA doesn’t freeze in this lovely December weather. It’s written just for Geocaching and has a lot of neat features, including saving notes, various types of searches, and even using nearest caches. Also read it will allow PDA to be connected to GPS’r to download and/or upload coordinates and other info. I can’t wait to try it out. Besides the convenience, the money saved on printer cartridges, and being earth-friendly paperless, just think how much more high tech (read Geek) I’ll be looking try this link http://www.smittyware.com/palm/cachemate/
Now if I can just find a way to get paid to cache

Hmmmmm….I think I have a guess what CatHunter did in the Navy. Then again I’m probably taking the wrong trail…..again!

Looks like enough room to host the next geobreakfast there. Put us down for two!

WOW!! 700 caches! Guess it shouldn’t surprise us. It’s a rare log we sign that doesn’t already have the familiar apothecary jar stamped in it. You two are a real inspiration for the rest of us. Congratulations on this impressive milestone.

We agree, the first hundred is most memorable, at least until 1000. Congrats on the milestone.
