Happy Thanksgiving from the two of us!
Pat & BobCongratulations Jeff on your 400th Milestone. It’s always a pleasure to see you, and walk with you. Happy caching.
Pat & BobCongrats Parkview! 110 finds in 1 day? Did any of those happen to have BoB in their name? Way to go.
Pat & BobNeither rain nor snow nor gloom of night!

11/15/2004 at 2:35 pm in reply to: CacherOnWheels crosses her first milestone in a BoB way! #1756388I’m not sure what I’m more sorry about missing, Jenny’s milestone, or those crispy cream doughnuts.
Just kidding Jen. A BIG congratulations from the two of us on your first BIG milestone. Did someone say Vegas? My bet is you’ll come home with a few more.
Pat & BobWe wholeheartedly agree with Cathunter! Socko has given the community many great memories. Here’s to Socko and his increadable State of Mind. Wonder what series he’s brewing up next? Our sincere thanks for all your efforts.
Pat & Bob11/15/2004 at 1:25 pm in reply to: Another cacher unofficially crossed the 1000 mark today! #1756372So should this be an unofficial congratulations? In any case, we’d like to say how much we enjoy sharing the trails and unhiding caches with you. As a founding member of Team Badger, your support has been invaluable. Sgt.Wicket has expressed his recommendation of promotion to the Team’s K9 officer as well, therefore I’d like to announce our second Colonel within the ranks, Colonel Cachew!
We’re proud to have you standing along side of us.

And wasn’t it nice to have the Flyboy along to share it with? We always enjoy spending time with you, and watching you reach this milestone was as enjoyable as ever. Keep up the smiles!
Pat & BobFirst off, I’d like to commend Linus for having the courage to come forward with this disturbing revelation. When I first learned that this dishonest practice was occuring, my initial thoughts went to the many hard working, dedicated cachers who have put in the miles, endured the swarms of mosquitos, hiked through mud and swamps and waded across creeks. How insulting it is to them! Some have said let others play the game the way they want. All games have rules, break the rules and you pay a penalty or are disqualified. It’s what is expected, even demanded, from those who participate. To turn a blind eye, remain indifferent, or justify such actions is against all values we hold as a society. Unfortunately there isn’t a way to ban someone from playing. There is however, a justice that can, and eventually will, be served. Those who have chosen to participate in this lie have only one motivation, the praise and respect of their peers. Once they have been exposed, and I believe eventually they will be, they will lose all of that, and more.
Geocaching relies on the honor system, and unfortunately we have discovered there are those who have no such honor. I for one, will no longer stroke their egos with praise, nor consider their achievements as anything but fraud.
BobI’ve often cached solo, yet continue to log under Cashing Out. Pat on the otherhand has rarely gone out without me, I believe I can count them on one hand. Regardless, we have never split up to find more caches than could be done together. To keep track however, when I have gone alone I always sign the log with just my name, and when we hunt together both our names are signed.
BobAs a matter of fact, this has been earmarked for Team Badger’s next mission. Tentativly scheduled for Nov. 20th. Just too many events to schedule around before then. I’ll be posting more when it’s finalized.
BobCongratulations on your 700th milestone! Happy caching.
Pat & BobThanks you guys. The BoB’s in Illinois were just too hard to resist, especially when you can share the bus with a group like that. We did, however, spend a beautiful morning on the lakeshore doing a fantastic Genius Loci series.
Pat & BobThanks Ken
