Bec,
Here’s a pic of the distance you’ll need to go.;D The cache is right along the rocks, about 5ft. down. I’d suggest bringing goggles and a pair of fins. The water temp was still warm when we did it.
It’s a great cache, we highly recommend it!

Bob & PatI believe we have a topic for the next WGA monthly article. Don’t worry about the consequences Tony, you’ll get used to sleeping on the couch.
Actually this cache looks like a great candidate for a Team Badger assult. Anyone interested in a swim next Saturday? If the team does attempt this, I’d like to make the stipulation that water entry is manditory for signing the log. It wouldn’t be fair to watch from the shore and sign the log as it is recovered.
Oh, and Rhonda, swimsuits are optional!

Team Badger CommanderCongratulations on 600! Seems like just yesterday you were at 300. Way to go Team Badger water girl. Give Lucy a hug from us too.
Pat & BobSorry for the late post, but a heart felt congratulation from the two of us also. You two are truly an inspiration to so many of us. The turtle and the hare story seems to ring true as you two continue to stride thru milestone after milestone. Way to go!
Pat & BobBest wishes for a speedy recovery from us as well. Hope to see you out on the trails soon.
Pat & BobI was really impressed as Kelly found her way solo to join Team Badger on the west bluff. Now thats dedication! What a great way to mark your most memorable milestone. Congratulations on joining two new clubs, Team Badger and the One Hundred Club.
Pat & BobWooo Hooo! Lotsacache has lotsacaches! Half way to a thousand now. Congratulations from the two of us as well.
Pat & BobAs amazing as your accomplisnments are, we think your commitment to cache in trash out is even more inspiring. You set an example that many of us are proud of. Keep up the great work.
Pat & BobWay to go Messa! Keep it up and you’ll be passing up Auntienae in no time.
Pat & BobCongratulations John & Wicket! It’s always a real pleasure joining you on the trails. Team Badger wouldn’t be the same without you. Here’s to many more milestones, and many more good times along the way.
Pat & BobCongratulations from both of us as well! Fortunately you two were the only bugs we saw during the picnic. Way to go!
Pat & BobIt’s even more impressive when you realize Trudy has to drag that beast around on a leash. Congratulations from the two of us, and here’s to 800 more smiley faces.
Pat & BobNot counting events, we have met 9 teams while out on the trails. Cachedz, CacheMeIfYouCan, wzbt03, Cachew, WISearchers, PharmTeam, MRAnderson, SpiderJugs, & TeamUWRT. We ran into MRAnderson a total of 3 times that day, all purely coincidental. TeamUWRT happened by while we were searching out a particulary difficult hide, but they were actually looking for another cache, and had taken the wrong route. We finished that cache together, then went along to show them the correct route to the cache they were seeking. Once while hunting a wzbt cache in janesville, a couple walking by noticed our GPSr and asked, geocaching? They were cachers also, just not caching at the time. It’s always fun to meet others on the trails, and even if you’ve never met before, you feel like friends immediately.
BobWhen word spreads of the WGA’s excellence at hosting events, I’m curious as to how many more states will be represented at next year’s picnic. Does the Beast have a prediction?
