One can only edit their own logs. If you own the cache, you have the option of deleting or encrypting the log. Click on the link that says “[view this log on a separate page]” and you will see the options.

I just got lucky, you guys were all over it!

Just wait…. I’m thinking the co-finders need to co-chair the event.

Summer is all too busy…. a late fall adventure may be in order.

Good thinking Jeff! It was well beyond my 30 second rule for opening my mouth anyway.

I finally settled down enough to post my find. I almost got lost on the way home.

My biggest fear the whole weekend was that JThorson would have it before the coords came out. This was my first time exploring that area, and that was my initial intention.

We spoke of a Wisconsin game some time ago & it has always been in the back of my mind. http://wi-geocaching.com/forums/Forum8/HTML/000275.html

Can you hear the gears turning? Somebody pass the gear oil!

I propose that whoever is ftf has to host a WGA contest in the coming months, to be run in a similiar manner.

    Nope…..

    A couple of thoughts-

The “links” page is a great asset when I remember that it’s there.

It might be even better if there was simple way to submit new links without first having to find out who to contact and then submitting via private e-mail.

How about creating a seperate “techno-geek” forum to seperate the technical posts from the general posts?

I don’t know how many other people would be interested, but I always thought it would be cool to have a “[email protected]” e-mail address.

Maybe a “test” forum for when EnergySaver wants to talk to himself?

And Major Brat definitely needs her own forum.

You might be interested to know that while geocaching in the woods, chances of receiving a reliable WAAS signal with any GPS is very slim. There is really no need for WAAS while geocaching and it also reduces battey life. Most of us leave WAAS turned off for these reasons.

It’s also possible that the problem is in the cache page rendering on geocaching.com. Do logs for the cache show up on the Wisconsin stats website?

in reply to: Garmin 60C vs CS? #1740545

Both the GPSMAP 60CS and GPSMAP 60C are packed with extra features, including rapid automatic route calculation, an integrated outdoor calendar, a dedicated geocaching mode, and indoor/outdoor GPS games that turn the outdoors into a giant gameboard.

The GPSMAP 60CS also offers an electronic compass and barometric altimeter for highland adventures. These sensors, when combined with GPS technology, provide enhanced bearing and elevation readings.

Geocaching.com stopped accepting some cache types because they were not in line with what geocaching is traditionally about. Combine this with the fact that Groundspeak’s server farm is having trouble handling the number of site hits it gets as it is.

If you feel the need to look elsewhere, there are some other pretty cool gps games out there.

Ever wonder why the “Print Screen” key on your keyboard doesn’t work? Actually it does.
In Windows, it copies the entire screen to the clipboard. Then you can just open your favorite editing program and hit “ctrl-V” (paste) and whalla… there it is. Edit it and save it as you wish.

No additional screen capture program required.

If it fits on the screen, you could just do a screen capture, save it as a JPG, and then edit it as desired.

I kinda figured, as many are complaining that the color screens on the newer GPRr’s are worthless in the sun.

The sun always shines on me. Beautiful weather for caching….. 2 more finals to go (&*%@$)

    Oh, and congrats.
