A short field trip for the Whitnall GPS class- $100.00
The look on Auntienae’s face when she was caught hiding in the woods-
PRICELESS!!
The Fall Paddle is now only a week away!
The current water temperature is 62F and the 10-day forecast is calling for high 50’s for the launch. The Fall Colors are expected to be at their prime for the event!
Some new caches are expected to pop up in the area over the next few days and there have been rumors of a waterborne bonus hide for the event.
A couple of us are planning to camp out the night before the event. Feel free to join in for a great night around the campfire!
Getting back on the subject at hand, I just want to remind everyone that this is hunting season and the Kettle Morraine is public hunting grounds.
I know Bob could easily be mistaken for a wild animal, so the rest of you should dress appropriately.
From Geocaching.com-
“Event Caches
Event caches are gatherings for geocachers by geocachers to discuss geocaching. After the event has passed, the event cache is archived. While a music concert, a garage sale, a ham radio field day or an orienteering event might be of interest to a large percentage of geocachers, such events are not suitable for submission as event caches because the primary focus of these events is not geocaching and the primary attendees are not geocachers. In addition, an event cache should not be set up for the sole purpose of drawing together cachers for an organized hunt of another cache or caches. Such group hunts are best organized using the forums or an email distribution list.
For geocaching events that involve several components, such as a day-long group cache hunt that also involves a seminar and dinner, only a single event cache covering all components should be submitted.”
Don’t you guys get it? You are not supposed to conduct geocaching at an event cache!
Congratulations to Brew and the rest of the House…. a new house at that! Wow, it’s been a big year for your family!
Thanks for all you do for us!

They already did host an event…. It was a great one!
I like the idea of small group events. It allows one to spend more time getting to know a few people without feeling like they are missing talking to “so & so” or what may be going on in the “other side of the park”. This is the reason I am looking forward to some “special interest” group events in the future.

I always thought running was for sick people-
First Enigma and now this!Congratulations Mr. Folktraker!
I came home this evening and found a mystery package at my door. It was the Magellan prize package!!
I was like a kid a Christmas as I tore it open to reveal the goods.
1. Woodalls 04′ Tenting Campground directory. 500 pages of valuable data!
2. A years subscription to ATV Sport Magazine. Cool stuff!
3. A 3-way light with flourescent and regular lamps + an amber flasher.
4. 1 pair of cheesy Magellan Sunglasses.
Not bad for being well behind the first finders! Thanks to the WGA members that make me check out the Magellan contest!
Wow! How did that happen? Way to go WiSearchers!!
A pretty quick 300! Great to see so many people getting hooked! Congratulations!
Way to go fishcachers! Seems like only yesterday you were the new cachers on the block. So much for fishing eh?
I think the referenced wireless card is one that is hardware specific to verizon’s network. Thus, they will charge whatever the market will bear.
