Although the sizing of my Avatar on my main profile page is now messed up, the photo gallery page RULES! I had not realized how many pics I have posted until seeing them all together. http://www.geocaching.com/profile/default.aspx?A=146174
I’ve been using Spinner and Plucker with my Handspring since about my 50th find. I like it because I can sort caches by almost every way imaginable and then later do a quick “search” to find keywords, waypoints, etc.
Good going! 200 takes some work! Hope to meet you on the trail sometime!
Congratulations on the big 100!! Hope to run into you on a future trail.
A big thumbs up to the both of you! Interesting that there were not 600 caches in WI when you started. A great feat indeed!
I have no problem with moving a rock or two, but I try not to disturb any plant or animal life. My pet peeve is people that nail or screw into live trees. One nail can kill a 30 year old tree! Don’t do it!
Numbers are interesting, but satisfaction for me is when I am introduced to a location unlike any other that I have been previously. I also find satisfaction in gaining knowledge of local history, and having to adjust my way of thinking in order to locate a cache. Caching has introduced me to more of the sights of Wisconsin than many see in a lifetime. That is satisfaction for me!
Oh yea;
RACE YA TO 300!!!
Thank you all for your kind words! I just figured out that today makes 90 days since my first find. Amazing to me, as for all the great places I have been and wonderful people I have met, I feel as if I have been doing this for years! It would have never happened without all the great hides so many of you have placed. Thanks to all of you who share in the passion for the hunt in our great state!
See you on the trail!

Not only are they caching like crazy, they held a great event too! Congrats G&S
Way to go LotsaCache! It seems it’s not getting any easier, but it sure is fun!
Don’t you dare have any regrets Beast! I have the utmost respect for all that you have done & will never forget the wonderful welcome you both gave me after I had first joined the WGA. I look forward to seeing you at each and every event you attend. Thanks so much for everything!
Here’s some info on Muggles, among other things- http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/marklent60544/myhomepage/Geocaching/neologism.htm
Wow, it’s another awesome place I would have never learned about if it wasn’t for geocaching.
The handbook looks great. I don’t think there’s really any need to add more. When giving a class, as long as you have a guide to keep you on track and allow for questions and answers, your experience will fill in the blanks. After the first couple, it becomes more enjoyable each time. After I got comfortable teaching, my problem was giving too much information; A 1 hour class suddenly turned into 2.
Most importantly, have fun! -
