What if I put a push pin in the top of my walking stick so that each time we found a tick we could pull it off, place it on a log, press the pin into it to kill it. We could call it a tic tack!

But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you’ve got to ask yourself a question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?”

Okay, first having spent countless hours caching w/ WISearchers, we’re going to assume that this was posted by Tony. Next we’re just going to chalk this one up to the “ticks went to his brain” and he didn’t really know what he was posting. We’re going to pretend we never read it. (But we are going to print it out so that we can taunt him with it next time we see him!…do you feel lucky Pvt?)

Lt. Mrs WISearcher recruited us to make this trip w/ her so I suppose we need to be added to the list of emails going out. We’ll be there rain or shine.

This is a great idea…I often only get on here when I receive mail from someone telling me to check out something they’ve read or posted. Then I find myself sitting here for two+ hours trying to catch up on all that’s going on.
This sounds like a great job for you Russ!

Oh c’mon now…some of us did it after the first big warming spell, followed by the first big rain of the season. And some of us did it 2 days later after that when all that lovely water had frozen under the next BIG snow. So stop whining about the weather and either do the cache or don’t!

(See how easy it is to give someone grief when you’ve already done the cache? Hee! Hee! They don’t call me MajorBrat for nothing!)

And yes, there will be a group of us sneaking in to join those of you who are going to attempt this one for the first time.

Hmmmm…I’d be one of those. Guess I’ll have to rethink those caches. I’ll watch them for a couple of weeks and see if anyone is visiting them, if not I’ll move them. If so, then I’ll pay the $. Both I placed in Rockford were team caches. I was the one lucky enough to get the emails when anyone visited them.

This also explains why so many flatlanders are taking over the parks in WI. They don’t want to pay so they came north of the cheese curtain.

BTW…where did you find this info?

Taunting and teasing? Count us in! Hey LT. you can wear your uniform that day…and from what I’m told there’s a ranking query in the works for MRWISearcher…ooooooooh!

didn’t I already see this on another page? Hmmmm….(although this IS the better place for it)

Thanks for the info Lt. It’s definately worth a trip! hate dealing w/ those dang water bottles on the trails. Hey Commander, will you carry my pack?

Like Lt. WISearcher, I too wish to offer my words of enouragement to all those attempting this one on the 30th. Do read ALL the previous logs and go prepared for anything…seasonal changes will make this a different adventure for you than it was for us. Be careful and as always…Happy Caching!!!

I’d also like to add that if you ARE concerned about the numbers, you should check out this cache: GCJJ4K, or GCMJEJ…apparently you can put a watch on the caches so that you know when new bugs are left there. Then you can race over before anyone else and get your hands on the new ones. It seems common practice to just take a bug or 12 to/from there to trade repeatedly rather than “finding” them in a cache you haven’t visited…you know, the old fashioned way. Check out the logs…hmmm…25-36 visits to one cache just to trade bugs? Seems wrong to me but what do I know?!
