DO NOT…I REPEAT…DO NOT LET THEM WASTE MONEY ON EITHER OF THESE UNITS!!!

The idea should never be to “spend money on things they don’t need”…it should be to get the most for the least with the best possibility of expansion. One never knows when a person will start playing around with their unit and decide to discover what else it can do. And before you know it you’ve got a full blown geocacher! I personally do my best to encourage anyone who asks advise to buy to grow. But then I’m simply a communications officer…what do I know? Hey, let me ask the Commander and get back to you on this…he used his Legend until he killed it and then upgraded to the mega Garmin. (Like Alan, I’m a Magellan user but I’m learning that others have their right to use Garmin’s if they want…BLAH!…LOLOLOL!)

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who attended the Team Badger Brunch. It’s the people that make the events a real success. It was great to see so many old friends again, and to meet so many new ones as well. As Commander of the Team, I’d like to personally thank some of my staff, without whom none of this could have been possible.
Major Brat, for coordinating and communicating all the info and such.
Col.Cachew for suppling laptop and logistics.
And our newest officer, Lt. Greyhounder for providing scouting and recon work in the Ft. Atkinson area.
Well done, each and every one of you.
The Team is working on a dinner event in the near future, maybe a pizza and beer kinda thing? Look for details within the next month. Until then, look for the Team getting together for the challenging hunts as usual, now that the snow cover is receding. See you all on the trails.
    Bob
    Team Badger Commander
