We did the puzzle over a year ago, I think…but if memory serves me right, we never figured out who that guy was…but, you don’t need to know! Once you figure out what you’re looking for in the pics you know, you will see that the missing name doesn’t matter. E-mail us if you need further details! We never searched for the cache because it disappeared, but we verified our numbers with some other seekers once we finished the puzzle.MB

How about some more discussion on the benefits of adopting a cache?
It seems to me that we would be better served by trashing out and archiving most caches that are abandoned. It opens up the area for new caches, new themes, and new hunts. In some cases it would also allows for nature to repair the area that the cache was located. (re-growth of greenery, etc.)
Why should we archive a perfectly good cache? If someone wants to adopt it, why not just let them? Then we don’t need to put another cache there…there’s already one there. If there’s nothing wrong with the cache, other than the owner(s) chose to neglect it, then why not let someone else take it over?

Yikes!
Kudos to you for stepping up and talking to them about it! Hopefully that will help deter any further issue with the cache! As for the label…uhmmmm….yeah….label the outside too! I personally would be more worrried about finding an unmarked ammo box in the woods than I would an unmarked plastic tube. But that’s me.

LOL, me thinks someone was reading those other forums about my “7.”
No, me, read the other forums? Okay, so maybe I read them a little bit. 8)

I’m just sad that I didn’t sign all the cards at the ones Bob has logged. I was with him at all but the one near ChiTown. Silly me for not signing up to play too! Oh well!
MajorBratI’m willing to forge your signature upon request… 😉
That’d be great… Oh, and btw…when do you leave for MI, IL, and MO? 😉

Your paranoid 😉
And no, you can’t come find where our house is to claim FTF 😉
Although that would make my hiding job easier…. 😉
May we? (j/k)
I agree though, he’s being paranoid! Sometimes life doesn’t allow us the time we’d like for all the things we plan. Sometimes life just has other things for us to do. Sometimes we just get around to things when we get around to them. Apparently for some of us, this is the case with these hides.
The game still has plenty of time “7”, so calm down. Think of the fun you’ll have getting all of them in one day.

MajorBratI just looked at the link Bec posted…the “holder” is a newbie with only 5 finds. The bug in question is the only one they’ve logged. Perhaps they thought they could take the tag and leave the rest…maybe they still have it. Try emailing them as well. If they have it, they can make sure it gets back on the bug.

I didn’t get one, but my mom did!
And is she being a good Mommy and letting you drive it to your favorite cache?

Bob and I are looking forward to meeting you and seeing what kind of adventure we can have with you and the rest of those involved. We love Geocaching and want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to lend a hand! It’s been a long time since we used a “Yellow” etrex, but it’s like riding a bike…right? Happy caching!

Congrats Duane! It’s been fun watching you go! Glad we got to share some of the trails with you! You ever gonna catch that brother of yours? LOL!
Those ARE great pictures! Thanks for taking them Jeff…also thanks to the others who used their cameras that day!
We finally logged the caches. We were able to complete the series and for the most part, had a great time with it.
Thanks to all who attended classes that day! It was fun walking with old friends and putting faces with some of the names we’ve seen on logs and online.
We were told by the hider of the series that there will be additional classes added to the course schedule soon. So…another Badger outing? Hmmmmm….
We were also told about another Madison station that will be airing a report on Sunday (after the campout). Two of our favorite cachers will be appearing in that one…you may have seen them on another Madison area report last year…
With any luck, whatever bad comes from Wed, will be forgotten after the report on Sunday.
