Not the first time that’s happened…some of the most well-known cachers in the state had the same problem recently.

As for your name, I looked on Groundspeak and it seems there is also a Cacher Chick (no underscore) in PA.

I’m sure we can…heck, we can probably just scrape some off of this thread!

    See you on the trails!

Yeah, whatever! What you meant to say is that you’re too busy hob-knobbing with the “other half” and traveling the world. Nice try though…

As for the getting back out there…hmmmm…guess that has to wait till your passport is stamped a couple more times!

We will be adding the 1001 to the list as it is part of the target series. However, while you’re welcome to do whatever you like, it is not Team Badger’s mission to “grab” any caches along the way. The target began and continues to be the Geocaching 101-901 series, with the only addition being the 1001 cache.

When Team Badger plans an outing there are several people involved in deciding which caches to do as well as planning the dates and meeting times. These outings are always carefully thought out before being posted.

Once we finish those originally chosen, we have been known to do others in the area. Until then…please plan to stick to the mission series.

    Thanks,

    Oops…forgot…
When nearing the area you may turn radios to channel 11.0

If you’d like a phone contact, e-mail us and we’ll give you one.

    hee! hee!

    Okay, so…
    Date: Sunday, April 23,2006
    Time: 9:00 AM
    Meeting Place: N43° 08.617 W088° 55.676

We’ll meet at the above time and location to attack the first three in the series. From there we’ll move North and with any luck, we’ll grab them all before anyone has to leave us for the day.

    ****NOTE****

Team Badger always uses the “Finder’s Tree” when hunting caches. Please be aware of this and practice it on Sunday. (If you’re not sure what this means, no worries…we’ll review on Sunday.)

Be safe and see you there.

Gee Dawn, you could always come along and poke fun at the rest of us who haven’t done the series.

You’re welcome to join us for the day. Having done several of these outings, I can tell you that it’s kind of fun watching a group of people hunt for a cache that you own. To see the different styles of searching is kind of cool. Plus, you get the added bonus of fellowship with other cachers (some you may not have met any other way). Watch the other thread for updates…

Way to go you guys! It sure didn’t take long. Guess all you needed was a little Badger coaching and some turn-by-turn directions. Can’t wait to walk with you again.

Awesome you guys! It’s good to know that you are trying to fill a need! With all the talk of containers lately, and the questions of where to locate ammo cans, it’s great to see that you’ve stepped in to help!

Every cacher is on the front lines.

I had a cache that I had to archive because of this. Someone kept going in and placing things in there that didn’t belong in a family friendly cache! Cachew rescued it, then I did, then a fellow cacher, then I gave up and asked Cachew to pull it for me. It stinks because the cache was in a very nice park. There are other caches in that park which were never touched, so this one was obviously a target.

Oh well…the friendship and basis for placement was archived, so why not the cache?! LOL!

Not sure if it helps, but you could check out Lil Otter’s profile. She still has a bunch of waterfall caches: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/nearest.aspx?u=The+Lil+Otter

Not to worry…I just have this strange ability to see the entire puzzle at one time. Not to mention the fact that I’m one of those nuts who do them all the time!

(Google for a site about them)
