Is there a mileage limit for close or not close fuel?
That was a lot of lightening and thunder Jim. Hoping all is well over in Briggsville and West Salem. Anyone else having too much water issues?
Checking out where else the sandlanders went, I saw two caches that I had on my list but didn’t stop for. We drove across ND 15 days later, headed home. Saw the big cow from the interstate but didn’t stop. If anyone goes through Livingston MT, GC3213Z has some big friendly horses to feed.In on 700
Birdin, we went through the Tetons and Yellowstone today. Took us 20 minutes at 9:20 am to get through the south gate. Only saw 1 bison way out in a meadow and about 10,000 people. We were out of there by 12:30. West Thumb was a big disappointment as the geyser activity is way down, mostly just empty craters. It was so active in 1986. Old Faithful area has really changed. More parking and more buildings. You can no longer see the geyser between buildings like you could before. We only did the south and west side of the park as we were headed to Bozeman to visit family. Fire on the north side today. Also, it’s 91 degrees in Bozeman … BOOOO!
Noonan … we’re headed north today but only coming as far as Bozeman. Visiting my niece and nephew and their families. Adding MT to my state list.
Good Morning from Frisco CO. Off the RMNP today.
Good Morning from Durango.
Right now water … tried some of the new “Hard Selzer” Truly on Friday. I like the grapefruit flavor. No caffeine and no sugar MGT, 5% alcohol though.
Friday looks like fun too … <b style=”color: #252525; font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 14px;”>International Beer Day</b> is a celebration on the first Friday of every August founded in 2007 in Santa Cruz, California. Since its inception, International Beer Day has grown from a small localized event in the western United States into a worldwide celebration spanning 207 cities, 50 countries and 6 continents. Specifically, International Beer Day has three declared purposes:
-
<li style=”margin-bottom: 0.1em;”>To gather with friends and enjoy the taste of beer.
<li style=”margin-bottom: 0.1em;”>To celebrate those responsible for brewing and serving beer.
<li style=”margin-bottom: 0.1em;”>To unite the world under the banner of beer, by celebrating the beers of all nations together on a single day. -
