OK TSrs … I put in a code for a TB I discovered in a cache today. I’m sure it is the right code but it says it hasn’t been activated yet. Do I go back and get it or hope the owner activates it for others? As it is, I don’t think they will be able to know where it is and I don’t know who they are. HELP!
was it a new cache? FTF gift? do you know who placed it in the cache? Guessing that if it was unactivated, whomever gets it first has opportunity to make it their own so if you feel that the cache owner placed it with intentions of activating, and not too far away to retrieve until the determination can be made, I would retreive it otherwise emailing the person placing it in the cache may be your only option. (assuming you tried all the B/8 O/0 permutations, but if it said not activated instead of does not exist, you likely got it correct)
I emailed four of the most recent loggers that stated they had placed a TB. So far, one has responded and she said she also got the same message. I’ll go back and get it tomorrow and see if I can track down the owner from home. It isn’t a new cache http://coord.info/GC3WT6Y.

Sun is back out, no rain here.

Back to the lodge/cabin. After 5 hours, wouldn’t you think Housekeeping would have been here!!!! Even waved to them as we were leaving. 🙁 Sorry for the vent about something so trival but no one else to rant to. 🙂
68 degrees and sunny sitting here on the deck looking at the redbuds blossoming around the area. There is a bale of turtles sunning themselves along the pond, must be about 30 of them. All the nasty weather went to the north of us so only a few sprinkles this morning. Saw a great show last night called SIX. Guys made all the sounds with their voices and we couldn’t tell there weren’t any instruments except by watching mouths, cheeks and chests move. Off to find some caches and whatever.

Happy Easter all! Went out for dinner and now it’s time to pack. I would like to leave now but I will be patient until tomorrow. Have some interesting caches lined up … used Roadside America to determine some of them. LOL
