Search the dollar stores.
Agreed. Not only can you find some rather nice stuff that you can’t believe only costs a dollar, but you can find things that appeal to just about anyone. Kids, adults, geopets, male or female.
A side question that I always debate… When you buy swag like this for caching, do you remove it from the packaging before stocking your caches or do you just toss it in, blister packs and all?
It works!
Pretty neat!
I noticed one bug… It shows my first find to be 1/1/2000, and it appears to be calculating my find rate based off that date as well. Other than that, I like it!

It would be nice if they would at least put a link up for the google maps showing all the nearby caches. It was also nice to be able to zoom/pan map without opening another page.
If you click on the “View GC.com Maps” link to the left, the page you’ll get to has a link to “View Google Maps (beta)”.
ALSO: This is slightly off topic but I have always had one major issue with the mapquest maps & newly listed caches. the maps basically take forever to load on any cache that has just been listed, but usually clears up after a few people find it/a few days. I get this on both my pc’s, on 3mb internet.
When a cache is first listed, the site links to a Tiger Maps image for the page, which sometimes takes forever to load. The page is put into a queue to have a MapQuest map generated, but it make take several hours or more for that to happen. If you edit the cache page, the Tiger map returns and the page is put into the queue again.
Personally, I usually don’t even glance at the maps on the cache pages. If I want to see a map of the cache area, I’ll click on one of the map links instead.
There was some trouble when they were first implemented as well, where Safari users were only seeing a grey square where the map should be.
You’ve got plenty of time!
Speaking of which… The third stage disappears tomorrow…

Is it possible to add DC to that list?

Eventually I will close this topic and move it to an archived forum so it won’t be visible.
Pest Toast!
Ugh. This argument is getting tiresome. I think I started ignoring it the day someone accused me of padding my numbers because I logged an “attended” at my own event. Apparently he didn’t like that I got credit for both a hide and a find on the same cache…

It would be a rather familiar cache…
Congrats on #3000!
