After hearing her name, I had wondered if she was related to Steve. My condolences go out to the Bukosky family.
As I’ve stated elsewhere, I’d like to see a way to log temp caches, and even show the totals, but separate from your find counts. Sort of like how your profile page shows how many benchmarks you’ve found, but doesn’t add them in to your total finds.

I want to log all the temps I find, it means something to me.
This is why I wish Groundspeak would code something into the site to account for temp caches to make them logable.
GC.com already gives you the ability to add additional waypoints to cache listings. (e.g. Parking location, trailhead, etc.) I wish they would add a “temporary cache” type that you could add to an event cache to list all the temps, and then give you a way to log them in some fashion, and still give you a total for the number of temps that you found on your profile page
You may also want to take a look at this thread where Groundspeak has helpfully started to list the changes they make to the website. It looks like they made some recent changes to how HTML is handled in cache listings. That caused some unexpected effects, but it looks like they got it figured out and everything should be working properly again.
If you’re having problems that seem to be related to a recent update, that’s the thread where you should probably post what issues you’re having.

I can not get the link to work thou and FYI, unless you do a search for it,there is no links on GC.com to the adoption page. I gt one of little Otters caches adopted that I was foster caring for and had a heck of a time finding the page.
The link was b0rken above. The correct page is here.
About my submitted logo:
I got a PM regarding this, and although I have already mentioned this in a different thread, I’ll mention it again here:
When I was reading a web page on logo design, one of the styles was the “knockout” lettering like what I did with mine. After I put it together, I realized that it looked a lot like this existing logo:
Mine for reference:

I won’t be offended if people want to shy away from mine if they think it looks too similar.
I also fully support the idea of using the 99designs site for a logo.

I do have to say I got a kick out of this post dating back a bit further:

Hah! This thread got me thinking about that graphic and you did me a favor and found it for me. Thanks!

Alright… Enough with the spinning, suggestion-inducing logo.
Back on topic… We need more submissions!

I’d steer away from the geocaching.com colors. Wasn’t there a logo similar to Dave’s proposed in jest a year or so ago with a spinning Wisconsin?
This one?

😯
These are all good ideas, and pretty much what we have the off-topic forum for. Feel free to start a recipes (or whatever) thread and post away, preferably with mouth-watering pictures as well.
Just a few days left to vote! Thanks to the 70+ folks who have already placed their vote for COTY!

Ok, I’ll give you most of them…but the Milwaukee HDTV forum? Isn’t there a grass growing website out there somewhere?
Threads like this one for instance. If it weren’t for that, I’d be sitting on hold with Time Warner wondering why the heck channel 6 wasn’t coming in in HD at all. It’s not a site I spend hours a day with, but there’s a lot of useful info there, especially if you have a home theater and/or HD setup.
At this time, I have no plans on updating the DeLorme Challenge cache to include any changes to the maps, as there are quite a few that are in the middle and it would suck if they suddenly had to start over because a page that they thought was completed no longer is.
If you were like the guy in Memento, you could just find the same cache over and over, and it would be exciting every single time!
