Congrats Sagasu on the achievement!

I have new wheels and I am not afraid to use them 😀
Just bought my next vehicle last night… I am happy now!!
Beware, I may be back on the road today. Having withdrawl pains the last couple days.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words and responses.

We actually went around the table and shared what we were thankful for this thanksgiving.
My responses were:
I am thankful for having a car that had working seatbelts and airbags.
I am thankful for a nice Packer win on Thanksgiving!
Happy Holiday Everyone.

11/18/2007 at 4:11 am in reply to: Team Bear Bear and Hemisphere Dancer do a double milestone 9 #1881253Congrats! to both of you on the milestone.
As marc mentions — this is absolutely no joke. That was my car after an accident on the road while geocaching on my lunch hour. As you may guess it is a “total loss” and I am “lucky” I did not lose anything beside my car and that the other driver also came away walking.
I do have a sense of humor regarding the whole thing I just wanted to make sure I spread the word on inattentive driving and what can happen.
Thanks for listening 😀
PS – My wife still dislikes my addiction to geocaching. (She does not dislike geocaching!)
It will be tough to get out on the trail without transportation let alone getting to and from work! I am pretty hesitant even to get into a car these days….
Congratulations!
Well, I made it back home in one piece. Vegas life has taken all of my energy plus more… Something about finding my way back to my hotel each night (er morning) and getting back up a few minutes later…
It turned out that with all of the conference events I had very little time to do much else!
Some highlights of the trip:
– Ate at Wolfgang Pucks restaraunt at the Venetian – had a species of fish I never had before that they cooked and then “cleaned” tableside. Think it was called a Duraunte or Duraunde or something..
– Partied at Tao in the Venetian. Conference event, open bar. Need I say more?
– Margaritas at Margaritaville (oh and a cheesburger in paradise of course)
– The tailgate appetizer plate at ESPN sportszone and way too much beer and a Wisconsin basketball game to go with.
– The best chicken quesadilla I ever had at Diablos Cantina mexican restaraunt
– Zumanity – the craziest experience of my life, hands down!
– Blue Man Group – This show rocks
– Fountains in front of the Belagio – also one of the 3 virtual caches I logged.
– and countless other smaller sights and shows.I also logged 2 more Virtual caches
– Toga Party – check out the picture on my log OR on my profile. Took a good 15 pictures here and this one turned out quite well. Got some blank stares while doing this!
– MMM – the M&M World one. Shopping here was a lot of fun.Only ended up losing 40 bucks. A success if I do say so myself!
Thanks to everyone for the insight on Vegas. Though I did not get to use much of it, I did have a blast and there’s still plenty more to see and do if I ever return.

It was quite the wander!
Thanks for the Congrats everyone.
The final was a temporary one but I will certainly re-visit to pay my respect when it is replaced. It’s a lovely woods to spend time in.

NOW off to wander Vegas BABY!
I made it!!! 🙂
Now I just gotta get out and hit the town. Watch out, there’s a cheeto in Vegas!
How’s the natural history museum? There’s a cache there and am thinking about going. Is it worth the stop outside of the cache?
Unfortunately I dont think I will have the luxury of a rental car on this trip 🙁
“Watch that step” sounds fun considering I am afraid of heights….
Can’t wait to have my picture taken for the “Toga Party” one. GPSr Unit will be precisely placed 🙂 Might even use a bag of cheetos as the “prop” too. Would make for a fine profile pic! My travel mates are going to think I have lost it. But you know what they say about vegas!
With 13 virtuals and 3 regulars near the strip and downtown and all of the sightseeing plus the “real” reason I will be there, I think I will have my hands full. Not to mention trying my luck a bit. Maybe I will even bet on the packers while i am there 🙂
Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I wish I could “get out more” and see some canyons and other fine stops. If I was going as a vacation trip I would certainly be spending more time at real actual caches and other tourist spots but I think it will be fun nonetheless.

C-O-N-G-R-A-T-S!
Now you can celebrate with wiskey and cheetos 😀
Where’s Dave?
Followed by 2 others:
Fav Fishing Spot – Asylum Bay has gotten some nice logs. I loved this H20-proof container when I found it and this spot along the water. Nice easy drive up for cacher’s who like that kind of thing but also a fairly scenic view at the same time. Apparently right now it comes with a bonus, a beached 4 ft sturgeon that seems to be getting ripe!Matt’s First Cache in Adam’s County is another fun one that my son and I placed together. He came up with the whole idea! I just came along for the ride and helped with the posting. It will not get a lot of attention due to it’s location but it’s a fun two part multi that takes you into the woods following animal trails along a creek.

Though I dont have hundred of them I have a lot of memorable one’s.
The most memorable has to be my FTF on GizFinder’s cache “Houdini Caching Tour”. This one took most of the day to iron out with some early puzzle cache “issues” and revisits to many waypoints. It was a very satisfying moment when I got to an empty log with other’s serious in the chase for this one.
Seldom|Seen’s “Fallen Son” was another memorable one. Stayed up most of a whole night researching this one so I could go find it early in the morning before work.
marc 5digit’s “Just another Appleton park in Cacalin” was one of the best ftf’s because this cache was published on June 16th and I was the first to solve this puzzle and find it nearly 3 months later in September! I had a smile on my face when I found this one first. It was definitely a sense of accomplishment to solve one no one else had yet after all that time!
Then theres s|s’ “Crazy Retro Driver’s wanted”. Let’s just say this cace race was not called “crazy” when it started but as the race came to a speeding photo finish it was definitely crazy. Sagasu graciously shared the co-ftf on this race as we finished at roughly the same time and being the fair sportsman that we both are we called it a tie. Talk about a lot of work for an FTF! If you are not familiar, take a look at what was needed to log this one..
Finally, I would say another one from Giz: “Cache of the Day”. It was fun to know that I was the first to figure out the technique to catch this one.
Ah, the memories!!!
-cheeto-
Wasn’t planning on it.
Think I should?
Is it possible to get some caching done without one?
I thought that lighthouse looked familiar. Visited it and the cache earlier this year on our anniversary trip up to door county.
Very cool coin. Will be putting in my order on payday.
