we will certainly make some changes for this years feast.
Changes will be made based on the guidance of the event committee so if anyone is interested in helping out with planning this event, please send a PM to zuma.
GCB0EB – Toga Party — I worked hard to get the pic I snapped.. try finding a bag of cheetos on the strip once.
Here is a Vegas Strip bookmark list. I’m sure there are others…
http://www.geocaching.com/bookmarks/view.aspx?guid=9394b935-6a98-4a7b-be66-60d0858a45c6I am going to vegas as well, November 5th – 10th. Looking forward to my 2nd visit. Unfortunately I can’t get away from the strip due to my reason for being there (and lack of a car) but I still have others to find on foot.
193 dnfs.
I typically log most DNF’s as a DNF log. Especially if I am hunting caches away from my home area. I’m not too proud to log the first DNF on a new cache either 😀
Congrats on the milestone and keeping an insane puzzle ratio going 🙂

Cheetos and beer? How much better does it get. Gotta love the glasses lil cheeto had in his photo. Definately sounds like a fun time.
Those are his Halloween costume. Our milestone pics include what we wore for the 10/10/10 goofy hat flash mob event. Thought it added to the fun of the milestone and it got some great stares from all the (older generation) folks who were coming to the museum for some reason at the exact time we were at the corner snapping pictures. 😉
And yes Jim that hat has been in my possession since cache #700 (2 years ago) which I still remember.
This particular 100 took by far the longest for me (nearly 8 months). I’ve slowed down considerably due to many factors but Geocaching is still a big part of my life being on the WGA board, I’m just participating in different ways.
Thanks everyone for the congrats. Hope to see some of you this Saturday at the WGA Adopt-A-Hwy CITO! (GC2FGJP)
Congrats on the Delorme Challenges guys! 🙂
I’ve only found 1 in a cache after 1200+ finds. I picked it up and moved it to another cache since I don’t collect them.
Is it possible you showed it to people in the past and someone who saw it finally got to logging it today? Maybe they didn’t change the date.
Being a cache owner, regardless of who the logger is I don’t see reason enough to delete any of those logs. Perhaps the one about the “micro” would upset me as a cache owner and would be dealt with in an email to the logger.
Coordinates being criticized is extremely common.
If you’re truly placing a cache near a headstone in a cemetery, being another cacher who may someday find the cache I would want to know that info so I can filter out that cemetery cache as I find it disrespectful to hunt near headstones. That’s just my opinion though and not the opinion of all cachers and certainly not the opinion of the WGA Board of directors.
Have you ever met Deejay in real life?
Lil cheeto and I cached on 10/10/10. 17 finds, no dnf’s.
Highlights:
– First time caching in Manitowoc. New County. New Delorme Page.
– Attended the Goofy Hat Flash Mob Event
– #1200th milestone.
– Found a 5 difficulty hide that earned the difficulty. W00t!
– Got to cache with team Sweetlife.
– Found several of the Harry Potter series which we enjoyed much.A very fun day 10/10/10 turned out to be.
Interesting point about the icon stacking on the map…
I updated the original announcement post of this thread.
