Personal opinion – Why don’t they quit worrying about the attributes, or just release them all at once. This one / two every few days is annoying. When should I think about updating my attributes? Today? What if they add another better one tomorrow?
They actually released a bunch at once. It was documented on yesterdays release but they were all added on an earlier release. This included the one discussed in this thread as well as the hike distance ones, the park and grab ones, the field puzzle ones, etc.
I believe the surge in new attributes was to appease the users of their new Get Satisfaction feedback system. Folks chimed in about ideas for “great new attributes” and Groundspeak answered. “Look we’re listening to our customers!”. Adding an attribute is probably pretty easy on their development implementation scale.

And why do they provide 12 spaces on the page listing but only allow you to add 10?
Are they conspiring with the hot dog / bun people?
I believe this has (in part) to do with them using needs maintenance as an attribute.
Another benefit of attending the Pre-picnic CITO event:
While it’s not the focus, this is a geocaching event that you get a “find” for and it’s a unique Icon if you haven’t yet attended a CITO event. It’s also a unique Icon if you want to work on a “busy day” challenge where you have to find a certain number of different Icon type caches in a day.If you have not yet attended a CITO, the reason I say this is not the focus is because you will realize just how good a deed you have done by helping pick up trash. It’s a wonderful feeling of accomplishment and pride. That’s why I’ve personally been so involved with CITO since I have started Geocaching.
At the Appleton CITO that I have run for the past 3 years, we’ve had all ages of kids attend and help out and many families pushing strollers. What better way to teach than to set a good example!
Feel free to stop by anytime.
Updating my tentative to a “will be camping”. We plan to camp the entire weekend and will be bringing our pop-up camper. Can’t wait!

Thanks for the tip on the water level -cheeto-.
No guarantees though!
Good luck on the puzzle and on finding the cache. This one earns it’s terrain and difficulty.

anybody going for the 30 point “carol for papr dolls” cache? I can’t crack the code……
I suspect the water may be subsiding enough to attempt a hunt.
I only charge a nominal fee for hints. 😉

Ryan – Please use the online store to place your order. Thanks!
Ever seen that episode of Dirty Jobs?? This thread reminded me of that…
Not that I want to discuss it as it’s the grossest TV footage I think I’ve ever seen… Yep I’m a city slicker.
Attached is a PDF version of the attendee List above for those without MS Office products.
I’m of no help for you as I don’t recall the specifics but I do remember finding all of the pieces for this puzzle.
I registered and played around a bit.
Couldn’t register my preferred nick as I assume their system can’t support a nickname that starts with a hyphen.
Is there an approval process to publish the cache or no? I notice a recommendation on the submission form of 300 ft from the nearest cache.
I like the idea of an alternative listing site. We’ll see how this one fares long-term.
Very nice buy 🙂 Not too shabby price either…
I looked at a sampling of my caches and didn’t see any “auto” attributes. They all looked like one’s I would have set (or the original owner would have set). That would be rather odd four Groundspeak to automatically apply attributes to caches.
Even better than the P&G attribute is the “not P&G”. I used this one to add some irony/humor to one of my sons caches.
Ooh.. a park and grab attribute!
I never noticed they added so many new ones out there. Thanks s|s for pointing it out.
Perhaps they should have made the hike distance one’s “bilingual” for us Americans who don’t think in KM’s…
Some nice new additions to the attribute list.
