what k0rpl is trying to say is you may want to start a new “wanted” thread in this section to get more attention to your need. 😀

look out for huts, tents and other makeshift structures
People actually live by their crops? That doesn’t seem too smart…
Naw, that’s just the guard shack.

They aren’t on ours anymore, either, Pete! LOL
What’d you do, put your home coordinates in the middle of the pacific ocean?
Is there really a different species of ticks living at Bong? 😉
We still have spots open for night caches for the campout.
Please feel free to email me at cheeto wi geocaching com or send me a PM if you would like to hide a night cache for the event.
See you all there!
Event schedule updated to include some Family activities.
My wife and I will be organizing some family activities including:
– A nature scavenger hunt – find and collect items as you hike and cache around the park during the day on Saturday. Turn in the I.D. sheet at the pavilion at 4:30pm and receive a prize!
– 11:00am – 11:30am – Family Arts & Crafts projects for all ages. Kids bring your parents!
– 4:30pm – 5:00pm – Family Arts & Crafts Projects for all ages.
– All day Saturday, a “kid’s stash” stocked cache will be available for families to hunt and take an item from the cache. There will be Storytelling at the bonfire Saturday night.
At the pancake breakfast Sunday morning we will have candy jar guessing for a chance to win the full jars. Winners announced at 10am Sunday. Must be present to win!
For clarification, a night cache does not necessarily need to be an elaborate trail of reflective tacks.
It can be any sort of cache that you think others would like to find at night. Perhaps something spooky, or some neat light-up or glow in the dark doodad you might have lying around that would make for a neat thing for folks to find in the dark.
I hunted a permanent night cache that ended with the cache being camoed by a rather interesting rubber mask.
We have some designated areas earmarked for placing the night caches so even if you are not familiar with the area we can point you in the right direction.
The night caching activity is usually one of the highlights of the WGA campout but we need your help to make it a hit!
Here’s what mine should end up looking like:

So item 1 – is this the FINAL or do we get to refine it – again, I thought this was supposed to be an approval of the concept
The vote was for the concept only, and we thank everyone for their input, designs, ideas and votes. The design concept that won will most likely not change much from the final product. We will be looking for input from the vendor that mints the coins for any changes that might need to be made for the minting process, if there are any, the final product will be decided by the committee with the assistance of the artist BakRdz.
Thanks again to everyone that submitted ideas, helped tweak the designs, and to everyone who voted.
Congrats!!
Congrats!!
Congrats on the milestone find!

Sue, one way to do that right now is to click on the “Past Winners” tab at the top of the COTM page. Then click on “View Cache of the Month winners as a geocaching.com bookmark list”. At the very bottom of the bookmark page is a link to create a pocket query. Give it a name and save it.
You never have to run the PQ if you don’t want. You can use the little magnifying glass icon on your PQ list to view the map.
If you are logged into GC.com, you can see the map here.
This is a great suggestion that I think we should look into.
Note that creating a Pocket Query is a “Premium Member” feature of geocaching.com. We will definitely discuss this since not all WGA members are geocaching.com premium members.
