Congrats!!
Btw, I’ve purchased several geocaching and non-geocaching event t-shirts in my life, sight unseen. Color unseen. Especially if it’s for a good cause.
Plenty of stores sell great t-shirts with great designs and great prices. Not many of those stores support non-profit groups that I choose to support. I see it as a win-win, even if the shirt ends up being lime green 😉
It’s a t-shirt sale for those attending the event. It’s never been advertised as anything else. If anyone is interested in getting one and is not attending, I’m sure it would be possible to get one without any debate on the forums or calling out the board.

Yea, I claim responsibility for these 🙁
Don’t be so hard on yourself. The owner archived them not you!

Thanks for the offers to help, but I guess they don’t wan’t my money as it seems that I can’t get an answer from a BOD member. I guess they just don’t care.
A little harsh, wouldn’t you say? I can’t speak for other BOD members, but I have been out of town for the entire weekend and just saw your posts from yesterday. Sorry, but if you expect immediate 24/7 response to forum posts, you will continue to be disappointed.
There have been a couple of offers to make sure you get a shirt if you want one. If you’re interested, I’m sure something can be worked out.
No I don’t think so.
The original post about the shirt was made on April 30. 1:31pm
Orders need to be by May 3rd, 11:59. Sure heck of a lot of time to place an order. I left town at Noon on Friday and saw the post @ 6 on Sunday.
ONE would THINK just maybe, mailing out shirts would be an option to those who can’t make the event. Post how much it will cost to send. When you handing out shirts at the event, when ya come across my name , ya slip it in a big envelope and send it off.I guess it doesn’t matter anyways since I’m in the membership minority and you will be way too busy pass out shirts the throngs of majority WGA members who will be attending this event.
So please disregard my posts. I sure I can find something else to spend my $30 on.
So you missed the Newsletter announcement then? This thread was not the “original post”.
Here is the text from the newsletter you should have received via email around the middle of April.
Campout Shirts And Groundspeak Items For Sale
If you would like to buy 2010 WGA Geo-Campout shirts, they are currently available in the WGA Store. T-shirts are available from $10, crew sweatshirts from $15, and hoodie sweatshirts from $22.
New this year, the WGA is also offering a limited number of Groundspeak items that can be ordered now and picked up at the campout. The prices are the same as those in the official Groundspeak store, but you save by not having to pay shipping costs. Some of the Groundspeak items available include cache containers, travel bug tags (at the reduced price of $4.25), and Signal the Frog items.
Profits from the sale of the shirts and Groundspeak items will be used to defray the cost of putting on this and future WGA events.
Use this link to enter the WGA Store and place your order:

I have a Colorado, and I would LOVE a whereigo! I’d gladly team up with some people to run them through it.
Me too! (only I have an Oregon) 😉
We’ve always handed out the t-shirt orders at the camp-out to keep expenses on the sale to a minimum. If you can arrange for someone to pick up your shirt and get it to you that would be great. I would love to offer this help myself but I’m not from the same geographic area as you are Scrappy Scout and it wouldn’t be very easy for me to get it to you. Perhaps someone else will come forward and help you out. 😀
When anyone orders Pathtags to be produced, the vendor provides a date range of when they will be available that’s a large window of time. The campout would be right at the beginning of that date range based on our order. We’re trying to be optimistic as it would be convenient to be able to sell them at the campout but at this point that’s probably unlikely.
Watch for more posts on this subject very soon!

I guess there is a chance that he may see this post, but he says that March 31st was the last time he was on here. I hope to be with him and have him sign the 10,000th find. 😆
or will he wave his hand over the container 😉

I like brown, but brown in tick country???
You can still buy one and wear it after you return from Richard ‘tick-land’ Bong recreational area. 😉
Seriously though, the WGA uses funds raised from the sales of shirts at the camp-out to help curb operating costs of the WGA. If you are planning to attend the camp-out (or know someone who is who could pick up a shirt for you) and you’re interested in owning one or just want to help out the WGA, please consider putting in an order for a shirt.
Also, don’t forget that were also selling Groundspeak merchandise this year as well! Save on shipping and order now! 😀
Thanks everyone for helping support your WGA.
Oh and congrats to BakRdz for winning the design contest. It’s a really neat design!
Download link worked now 🙂

Pocket Query
Thanks! Your pocket query has been modified and currently results in 1000 caches. You can preview the search on the nearest cache page.I don’t see a direct download, so the functionality seems to be the same as it was. Time to redo all my PQs.
There’s a tab there that says “Pocket Queries Ready for Download”. I ran a new one with 1000 results and the download link returns an error. Probably still working on it..
Interesting… they have been putting up a “we’re down” page for the last few maintenance outages with a link to the forums. Wonder if they are updating the forums too so they didn’t bother with the message.
There’s been lots of “preview” posts on the GC.com website forum about what’s coming in this code release.
Max PQ’s expand from 500 to 1000 is one of the items with the new ability to direct download the PQ result file from the site rather than waiting for an email to deliver. This one is hidden on a post related to PQ’s and lackey’s started posting about the upcoming code release expanding PQ functionality and how it will work. PQ’s w/ results > 500 will not be sent via email and you will have to direct-download.
Icons for the 10Years! events is also being added. Too bad I can’t attend one 🙁

Thank you for creating this thread.
Could a MOD please “sticky” this topic until after the event as this is Wisconsin’s showcase event and as such it deserves a bit of special attention here on the boards.
Consider it “stickied” 😉
Thanks for the heads up Pete. I sent my email asking for an invitation.
I’m hoping to create a cheeto’s flavored bean. 😉
