Collection Puzzles (Visit a bunch of caches to get parts of the final coordinates) – Almost everyone likes these (except the reviewers.) 99%.
Well, I bet most owner’s find they don’t like owning caches like this either.. 😉
My message to anyone thinking about putting out a series where the info is in the container: DON’T write the info on the log sheet
Take a black marker and write it somewhere inside the container if possible.
Just a suggestion of course.
I think I agree with Deejay here on his post for the most part.
Personally I like the a’ha moment one’s the best but when I’m staring at them blankly for days I like them the least. Followed close second by research (field or internet) where I learn something.
FYI – The whitetail deer WGA coin design was 2005. (pictured is the standard edition, the LE has two tone metal finish)
There was also a 2006 Lighthouse coin I believe.
Or maybe their geocaching nickname is “in Arkansas”. ha!
Could have been a note that was in a baggie with a TB or Geocoin or some other swag.
I suspect the cacher who found it was FROM Arkansas.
They just didn’t use correct english in their physical log signing?
This is my cache and it’s never left that trail as far as I am aware!
Congrats Helidood on your 100th find!!
That is my most favorite fishing spot 🙂
Congrats zoesbro on the milestone!!
Also, we’re going to be selling stickers that will generate income.
In addition to the above mentioned 6 committee members, we have one other member who will be assisting on the committee:
Jennifer Mode (LightningBugs Mum)
Jennifer brings to the process a wealth of experience in creating geocoins and most importantly was instrumental in the creation of past WGA geocoins. We welcome her to the committee.
If you’ve never participated in a CITO event or a service cleanup project in the past, please consider attending one of these events in 2010. (and if you have, you probably know how fun they are!)
You will feel good when the area is all clean. The camaraderie and pride shared with all who attend is such a great feeling when your all done and enjoying a potluck and sharing a caching story or 2.
It’s more than just a “new icon” in your found stats. Some people will come for the icon but learn that it’s so much more than that.
You won’t regret participating in a CITO event.
Congrats on the milestone!!
Congrats on the milestone!!
