I just happened to do a quick search online and noticed that custom bumper stickers (full color & 3″x10″) can be purchased in bulk for 560 / 1000 or less than $0.60 each. At this size you could have multiple smaller sizes with on larger one.
Just throwing out ideas and leveraging on the bumper sticker idea. I’ve never purchased these, but assume that a bumper sticker would be “weather friendly” and it included full color at no additional charge.
This idea was discussed in the board meeting along with several others.
One thing we learned is that company’s that print stickers will likely not take a job if you are planning to “cut up” the sticker into multiple stickers. They know this by the design you submit. They earn revenue on quantity printed. It is generally frowned upon in that industry to print 2 stickers on one sticker. This is typically why stickers aren’t as cheap as you think they “should be”.
If you want to cast a vote for:
“I would not purchase a WGA Pathtag or a WGA geocoin”
and you don’t mind me knowing this information, please send me a Private message via the website and I will record your vote. I will not disclose who voted no to any other members, board members, or committee members.
Again, my apologies for losing this option when I posted.
Shane
There was a “I don’t want to buy any pathtags or geocoins” option but it got lost in the internet somewhere. My apologies on that for those of you who want to pick that option. Unfortunately a poll cannot be changed once posted without starting over.
Feedback to this poll is very important in making the decision to move ahead with this project or not. Thank you for taking the time to cast a vote and if you haven’t yet, please consider indicating your interest in pathtags with a vote.
Congrats on the new addition to the family!
Congrats!!

My understanding (from experience) is that there is no “saving” of WP’s when your cache is submitted. If you submit it and put things on hold for any reason, and someone else’s submits one for publishing, you lose your spot.
Well that does not sound right. I had work to do on the cach pages. They just dont happen over night. Take for instance the State series. I know i would be very upset after doing all the work to put the series together and then have the kabash put to it just because someone posted before me. I thought that was the reason to save spots. Im working on a 56 cache hide now and i will not run out, get the cords then publish one at a time. What a waste of time.
You can always contact our reviewers and let them know you want a series published together and have them review them prior to publish. They might just help you out there. Ask nicely and bribe often!
As for whether older non-enabled, pre-published cache pages take precedence over a newer placed cache, I would never assume anything.
I scored a couple points yesterday. I’ll accept my 17th(ish) place prize for the month of February whenever you want to send it. 😉
This ended my 6 month span of scoring no lonely points.
Congrats to whoever comes out on top. February is not an easy month to hunt caches let alone the lonely one’s.
Congrats on retirement! Hope you enjoy many many years of good traveling, caching, and enjoying life’s pleasures.
I’ve had nothing but hurt with Time Warner from service to my experience canceling my service.
Uverse has been okay. I switched about 2 years ago.
Uverse Internet service is great. It’s always working at the advertised speed limit I have chosen to purchase. Wireless is built into the modem device they give you so no additional hardware. It also came with a UPS power supply so your wired phone (if you get the VOIP phone service) will work even with the power out for a half hour.
Uverse is a bit more expensive than time warner – I’m talking published non-contracted, non-sale rates.
I have the same television issues with uverse I had with Time Warner. Have had the lips not matching the voices issue twice. Pixelation on occasion during prime time many times.
The full house DVR is great with uverse.
Have had to reboot the boxes on occasion because they “wig out”.
High Def TV is not included in base price where it is with Time Warner if that is a need. However, I have a High Def Sony TV in my bedroom, hooked up to the box via HDMI, and the box set to the highest resolution for std def and people think I have Hi Def service…
I’ve also had dish TV service in my past and was completely unsatisfied with how it worked in bad weather. Your results may vary as this was several years ago.
VOIP phone service with uverse is over-priced for what it is. This is the one thing I would recommend you shop around for if considering their 3 way package. Still not sure why they charge so much more than say vonage for the same exact thing.
Hope this helps..
Thanks for the great tips!!!
