Again, I know s|s is not so intrigued with numbers and milestones but not many out there have hidden 200 caches so a big congrats Alex :))))
Also, what’s most admirable is that Alex has hidden 1 cache for every 4 he’s found (roughly).
I’ve tried hard to keep a 1:10 ratio. 1:4 is crazy talk man.. well he is a crazy man..
See you at the event. I was going to say something bad sounding about grabbing a stick but I will leave that off. That’s what found-it logs are for..
Cache owners who label what cache it is on the log sheet and/or their nickname
Okay, I will come clean. I never said I was praising myself or my approach 🙂 I may forget to do this on occasion.. that’s why I say praise to those who cleanup after bad cache owners and add this to the logsheets! 😉
Maybe someone was following you as you hid them and removing them?
Ghosts?
Sounds interesting alright…
I’m kinda enjoying watching from the crowd…
Naww.. it’s not too early to be plannin’ 😉
So at the end of the Geosnippets puzzle cache tutorial, how do you get the cache out of the PVC pipe? Neat idea to make the puzzle actually trying to get the container 😈

Had to pass this one along too… still laughing…
I ran into the HeadHardHat ones awhile ago and really enjoyed watching his shows. Well worth the visits even if you think you know “everything”. There are also some interesting “extreme geocaching” videos out there as well. People climbing insanely high columns in the middle of the river to get a cache and other crazy things.
Cache owners who label what cache it is on the log sheet and/or their nickname 🙂
A great set of coords.
Owners who post parking coords and trailhead coords. THANK YOU!!
New cachers placing hides that I can go find in areas that were once “cleared out”. Woo hoo.. more fun!
Caches placed in parks I did not know were there or nice little ravines and other areas I get to discover and enjoy.
Creek crossing caches.
Easy to find caches.
To walmart for carrying matchstick containers and fleet farm for carrying ammo cans.
Extremely quick review/approvals on newly submitted caches. Thanks reviewers!! 🙂
New research puzzle caches without any mind reading.
Cachers who help out others by maintaining caches that they find in disrepair or revisit because they are passing by.
Event cache owners and organizers who put on well-organized events.
And on and on…
cachers logging needs maintenance when they cant find it and they only have 8 finds..
Congrats Dave!
Wheeled campers are not allowed in the group campsites, so if you are thinking of bringing your pop-up or travel trailer, you would need to reserve a spot in the family campground.
FYI – There are still many of these sites available for that weekend in the family sites…
A lot of great caches are never nominated because it isn’t possible for them to get enough votes to win.
It’s unfortunate but this is pretty true.. I’ve not nominated based on this premise before. For instance, a cache that only 5 or 6 people has found but is an an excellent nomination for this honor.
Sweet!!
We tried to “hint” to our local media here before the appleton CITO but it never got picked up as far as I was aware.
very nice story. great job.
See everyone who’s coming out to help tomorrow!!
