I have posted a few logs for caches that have been done out of state but they do not show up on the Recent Logs like others do. Is this because I am logging them from out of state? Do they only get “harvested” if they are posted from Wisconsin based connections? It’s not a big deal, just want to know why.
I’m not sure if this is right, but i noticed that you do not have GC.com profile icon next to your name. I think that has something to do with it also. Cuz I noticed it picked up Costie’s log in Florida.
None up this way either.

Well now I’m curious.
Are the official colors of all the colleges in the University of Wisconsin system, red and white like UW Madison? Or do they all have their own logos, colors and symbols?
Cause if we’re picking the colors for one college, personally I’d prefer UW Platteville’s.
According to this site http://www.wisconsin.gov/state/core/wisconsin_state_symbols.html, there are no State Colors. We have a State Soil?!? Who’d a thunk it?
Each school has it’s own color. Platteville’s colors is navy blue & orange, Eau Claire is blue & gold, Superior is black & yellow and I think Riverfalls is red & black. I’m not sure what the other schools colors are.
I guess I thought that red was Wisconsin cuz you always see the Gov’s wearing red vests, ties or sweaters. Well, the State flag is mostly blue…..
What kind of Garmin is it? I had my Map60 where it would work and then nothing. Acquiring Satellite’s was all it would say. I called Garmin first, sent it in and got a brand new one and it was out of warranty.
Did ya try doing the whole reset thing?

I’d steer away from the geocaching.com colors. Wasn’t there a logo similar to Dave’s proposed in jest a year or so ago with a spinning Wisconsin?
For Mr. Negativity. 😉 😀
I like this one but how about Red and white since that the official state colors think, and not just the UW colors.

Ya know, that Cheezehead seems like a really smart guy. Perhaps a case or two of Leines could procure a bit of his time and expertise……Otherwise, I will be forced to resort to the “Secret Weapon”…..which no self proclaimed cheesehead can resist!! 😉
Ummmmm….Duhhhhhhh….I don’t know what ya be all talkin’ bout. Me dumb as a rock.
Secret weapon??????? Would dat be a Cheeze Bra??? 😛 😯
2 cases of beer would beer a year supply or better for me as I very little anymore cuz of the drugs I’m on.I’ll help out if I can but my near future plans are up all up the air as I may have to make reservations at the suite they named after me in Duluth at St. Mary’s. I had a TEE last weekend and discovered an issue that “needs to be taken care of sooner than later.” I hoping for next Feb. later but it could be like in 2 weeks sooner. I have an appointment with my Doc at the St. Paul Heart Center next week. We’ll see what he thinks and then a trip To Duluth to with my surgeon I’m sure. (He didn’t want to go in the last time.)
But again, if I’m able, I’ll do what I can.

Do you mean the campout in Dodgeville? Not that far from us (Ferryille), but have not been to a “meet” yet. We have a travel trailor, so we can’t camp with the group, so how the heck do we find them? Do you all have some sort of huge GeoFlag marking the spot or what…oh wait… it’s a coordinate ain’t it??? ok, I’m lost already! Ha!
They be the ones looking down at their hand walking in circles or have GPSr hanging from their necks
Well, we just a fresh 3 inches over night and it’s still coming down. I guess I been luck as all the trail I’ve hiking have been packed down pretty good. You get off them trail and snow can be just below the knees to above.
What’s the difference between that and logging your own caches as a find? Which I do not to just for clarification but some do.
Huh? Don’t ya pronounce it cash-ay ?? 😕 8) 😆 😉 😉 🙄
How about KFK-Kid Friendly Kaches. The “K” in Kaches would help in the determination of a kids cache? Maybe??? Just a thought and there would be no reference to any type of food.

As proof of these statements, observe……

This was taken at a geocaching event last weekend. Honest! And Trekkin’ started that fire with a show-off display of his firestarting skills with flint and steel.
I have witnesses! Some of them post here, too!
So what be in them pots? I made cornbread in a DO last year while fishing with my nephews and they thought it was was the best ever.
Ever watch Cookin’ With Cee Dubb ? He be one cool dude!
Others to contact would be BeadLake Crew and GPS Junkey. They are WGA members too.
