Oh, I know you are all around. I just thought if there was a spot, others and “newbies” could go to look rather than having to search it out.

Here are a few “Up North” campgrounds with showers.

Copper Falls State Park & Pattison State Park, which I have been to.
Another one that I liked to try that has showers Governor Knowles State Forest. Lots of cache around Knowles & Pattison but not as many around Copper Falls area.

    Here is a cool linkhttp://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/land/parks/specific/pickapark.html
Shows ya a list of everything.

Am I the only one who’s slightly disturbed by the number of geocachers chiming in here with how they would kill someone while out in the woods geocaching? 😯

Thanks for helping me put together my list of geocachers I’m not going into the woods with! 8) 😆 😕

I guess you will just yo wait and see where this all leads too and why I would ask such a question! 😀 😯 😆 8) 😈

What do ya all think about a hornet’s nest? If one was deathly allergic to bee stings…..How would one prove that you placed it in that cache? Would be hard to get finger prints…… 💡 💡 a rabid badger????

Thanks for all the ideas. I might have to make this mystery BIGGER!

    Keep the suggestions cumming!

Good ideas! keep them coming! Ummm just how would ya kill someone with a film canister thou?

in reply to: Just where is the map page on GC.com?? #1873942

But to do that you need to be Premium member right? For now I just log on here click on the map and see. Not real hard to do either.

Thanks! No real reason other than just trying to find where is was is all. I did noticed that it does show NEW caches when they are published, before the weekly notification is sent out.

I was just board and tying to find the page.

    Thanks again! 😀

OK! I’m SORRY!!! 😯 I should have known better than to use the word normal! I know that MOST cachers ARE NOT NORMAL! Would normal people drive an hour in a snow storm to be the first to find a plastic container or a metal can????? 😯 😯 😕 😕 🙄 🙄 😆

    (I think I just re-stole my own thread 😛 😉 )

OK, so just why would that pic not show up on MY computer? When it does show every other version of that pic ?

How do ya make a pic of a screen? I could do that, post it and show ya all that I ain’t’ smokin’ nottin”!!!!! 😛 😆 8)

Well, it’s this computer. I look on the computer on the shop and it’s there. So it must be somewhere in the settings I guess. But it’s just not on my pages thou that it does not show. I checked pages of other members that had the link and it does not show. Could this be a “script” problem? We have been getting a script error message.

It really is no big deal, as long as the rest of the normal population can see it. Just do know why that one link would get filtered thou.

I found a product that works pretty well. Some may have heard of it, some not. I’s called REPEL Permanone that you spray one clothing and other gear and is to last even through a few washes. I spray it one my pants and a pair of boots. It come in a small Blue and copper can and Wally World does does carry it. I think it cost around $5-$6 or so.

in reply to: garmin 60 CX question #1872112

    😯 😕 😕 😯 😯 🙄 🙄

OK, so what one should I upgrade to? the 60cx or the 76cx????
Right now I have a Garmin Legend etrex. I been thinking of trying to talk the wife, sister and my folks to buy a new GPS. I was thinking a 60cx until I saw this thread and saw the 76cx. So I have NO clue now 😕 😯 …….

in reply to: Tack — not sure how to be tactful here #1870914

I do not think it’s a big deal. One of the local DNR land managers told me that he does go out and finds caches, but does not sign the log book or log them on GS, for whatever reasons I don’t know. On some of mine I have found that there are many who sign the log book but do not log them.
