We had an unofficial meeting of the local Sawyer County Geocachers last week and it was brought up when out hunting to be aware of Meth Labs!!

Up here are some very rural areas an many abandon hunting camps and buildings. From what I was told there was one found north of us and a couple east of us. Just a word of warning is all.

1/1 = Terrain is 1 and Difficulty is 1…supposedly the easiest of caches. We, too, often think that the more we find, the harder it is to find the easy ones.

Thanks! After thinking about it for awhile, I figured out that’s what it probably stood for.

OK, being new here I still haven’t figured out all geo-jargon. What does 1/1 stand for? Please give an example for us dumb-dumbs.

In one of the caches, the cache owner logged that he went out and took $20 himself, so I am guessing its real.

Let me guess… it’s a $100 bill issued by the government of __________ (fill in the name of a country with a 1000% annual inflation rate).

Maybe the Hayward Cheezehead can set the record straight….That he didn’t take one could either be very nice and curteous or perhaps just saving himself the hassle of carrying around foreign money.

    😕 😉 Nope. it’s not foreign money 😈 It

    —- —- money 😈 😉 ❗ 😀 They even traded some in another cache!

I just put out my first caches. On one of them, the ftf said that my cords. were off by 100 yards or so. The next said that they were dead on.

I did 3 avgs waypoints on the one so it is what it is.

All the one I have found have been right on a close as a foot up to 35 feet but have had no truble finding any of them. That does not include the on I forgot was a mystery puzzle one and and spent 5 mins. walking around in circles! 😳 😉

There are small fishing lures that are in a package yet so I think they’d be ok.They also go with the theme of the title of the cache The bubbles I thought about for awhile. I put all the items in a large zip lock but left the bubbles out thou. Was planning on going up and replacing them after the first freeze as its not to far from my home and would not freeze right away. Any other suggestions for items? And thanks for your replies!
