ok, found the answer to part of it… it’s a hitch hiker (letterboxing traveller). It’s not logged on the site though. so now what do I do with it?
Find another letter box and drop it in that. and not a GC-hybryd.
I’d say pull it. There no contact info or any info. Maybe try to email the 9 yr old and ask him where he got it.
Team Ka-BOOM!
So …ho goes that caching retirement thing going for you two??? :lol2: xD  just givin ya a hard time.
Ah! gotcha! Was not on the same wave legnth. Key word container
Can not have a pill bottle containg clue /coords where a cache is, am I now reading that corrrect?@labrat_wr wrote:
I will give this a stab. I am certain the reviewers will clarify/correct me if I am incorrect.
on a single cache, the waypoints of a multi do not need to be 528′ apart.
if a physical container is present(cache or waypoint), it must be 528′ from any other cache or physical waypoint from another listing.
informational signs don’t count as physical container, so I would believe that another cache/waypoint container may exist at the sign.
Ok this is what’s hanging me up. Can a seperate stand alone cache, be within “the 528′ of a waypoint? Cuz from what you wrote, your disagreeing with yourself.

I think I was told that with the 450, you can not share wirelessly, but I’m not positive it was the 450 he had.
Our 450 shares wirelessly…..but don’t yet know what…… There was another Oregon that was trying to talk to it in West Bend……asking for a date perhaps?…..but we declined the invitation. 😯
Well, maybe if your 450 made it a trip north, it might be able to sweet talk to my 62st and learn the coords to “Introduction” and others :boss:

BUT, once a cache is published it’s free game. Just sayin’.

I agree about getting frustrated with crappy logs (particularly with my EarthCaches). I email folks when they do write a good log….for example the one I got today I just loved:
(Chirp) Spooky Boy
Found it August 7 by Xxxxx Xxxxx Xxxx (2125 found)This is my first find with my new Garmin Oregon I received for my birthday. This cache has been on the radar for a while, but I did not have the proper paranormal communication device to glean the information from momma ghost. I arrived at the posted coordinates and after a short walk, I felt a weird chill in the air. I turned on my comm. device and I instantly was contacted by Momma. I told her her son would be back with her soon. I rushed to the area where momma lost her ghost and I understood her worry. This wee ghost was surrounded by vampires. There were swarms of those little blood suckers everywhere. They had the young ghost so scared he wouldn’t come out to greet me. I had to search for a while until at last I found his hiding spot. I told him that his momma was worried. He asked me to autograph his scrapbook and offered me a prize. I signed, but no reward was needed. This was a fun use of new technology. I guess we will have to wait to see how it evolves within the hobby. A big Thanks.
Hmmmmmm I wonder who wrote that? 😉 8) 🙂
But Yes I agree that is a class A Log.@Trekkin and Birdin wrote:

I cracked 10 eggs before leaving home and put them in a Nalgene widemouth water bottle. Much easier than trying to use eggs in the shell on a kayaking trip. 🙂
Can you get individual eggs out using this method?
Yes, a camping egg holder takes up a lot of room in the cooler.
If you need to, yes. All but one of my yokes remained intact. But I scrambled them all before using anyway.
Make frozen Egg Cubes!! 😛 Seriously!!! Crack an egg in to an ice cube try, I’d scramble them first, but I think you can whole if you want. And you can use them anytime. Even at home. Makin something at home and call for 2 eggs, take 2 cubes out and let them thaw. I learned this from an old customer of mine back when I worked in a grocery store. She’d buy a whole case (15 doz) when eggs were real cheap and freeze them.
Tips For Storing And Using Leftover Egg Yolks
Store Individually
Egg yolks need to be stabilized before freezing or the thawed product will be pasty and hard to mix. For best results store the yolks pre-measured according to future use. If the yolks will be used for sweet or dessert recipes, add 1 tablespoon of sugar or honey per pint of yolks. If the yolks will be used for savory recipes add 1 teaspoon of salt per pint of yolks. The stabilized yolks may be dropped, one egg yolk in each section of a ice cube tray and frozen. Remove the egg yolk cubes and store in a freezer style zip-lock bag.Eggs whole and in the shell cannot be frozen. Eggs can and are successfully frozen
all the time but they must be mixed. The white of the egg and yolk must be blended for proper freezing of whole eggs (yolk & white mixed).Take a dozen eggs and mix them up as if for scrambling and add a 1/2 tsp of salt. Pour mix into ice cube trays and freeze for a day.
Take frozen egg cubes and place in freezer bag.
Use two cubes (thawed) per whole egg needed. While this will not provide you with “sunny side up” style eggs they are excellent as scrambled/ omelets or in recipes calling for whole egg.
Separated Yolks will freeze only when mixed and salt added, consistency is changed by freezing but not unacceptably so when using for baking etc.
Egg whites freeze well without stirring or salt.

Ah-course, if you’re looking for the wow factor with camping noobs or kids, make some omelets in Ziploc bags, or cook some eggs & bacon in a paper bag over the coals.
Or baked potato omelets. Wrap potatoes in foil and cook in/over fire until soft. (we usually do this the night before, so the potatoes are ready to go in the morning.) Cut a hole in the potato and scoop out potato to make a cavity large enough for an egg + fixin’s. Crack egg into potato, add fixin’s (ham, cheese, onion, whatever you want) and mix together. Replace foil around potato and set back in fire until egg is cooked.
That sounds great too!
I think this “COULD” work.
If you have Map Source, load all the cache that you want into that. Add as a waypoint to the route. Then hit calculate and that “should” give you a route that you can then up load to make a PQ. But then again, I may be all wrong about it.@CodeJunkie wrote:

Are willing to share? I’ve never heard of either of these.
Very simple CJ. Big pot of boiling water and zip loc bags. I recomend freeze bags. Cut up what ever you want in your omlete, add eggs, and drop into boilng water, and let boil tell eggs set..
Paper bags are kinda tricky. Though everything in a PAPER bag, use a stick to hang bag over coals, just dont get the bag to close to the coals.
Both work pretty kewl. -
