That unit will do ya fine. My 1st unit was the old Blue Etrex. Worked fine till I forgot it on the roof of my Tahoe, it fell off and got run over my a pulp truck. Those free maps work well also.

Ummm, when you go to the TB/coin page, click under “Edit This Item” or “Up Load Image”.

Groundspeak will be change the number of caches in a single pocket query from 500 to 1000. The head frog even promised that this will be in place by May 2nd this year.

Ya, but are you going to get all them caches in one day? Then what ya gonna do?

in reply to: GSAK question….NOW what did I do? #1924435

It’s in your geocaching Account Details page page. Under “Your Preferences, make sure that it’s set GPX Version:GPX 1.0 or vise versa.
When I ran my PQ’s last night, I didn’t get any info cuz mine was set to 1.0.1 and I changed it back.

Well, I will say that this could be the cause and the fix, but I could be wrong.

Sun is up and it looks like a great day for the hike. I stepped outside on the deck in just a sweatshirt a few minutes ago and wasn’t cold. There was a “ting, ting” sound I couldn’t figure out for a few moments until I realized that it was the ropes tinging against the masts of the sailboats down below.

We are starting to second guess whether we have enough chili or not but we have already planned a quick stop at the store down the street to pick up some sandwich stuff just in case. So, all is good and hope to see you there.

Don’t worry about it for me.Should be heading up shortly.

I’m thinking I can make it up in the morning. Need me bring anything up?

I thought they called each other evil?

I’d be willing to bet that the “Frog” knows and keeps tracks somehow. I’m sure they will do something when it happens.

Now, Cheezehead… Do you really think such an honor as the 1,000,000th hide would be allowed to occur north of Highway 64? 😆

Oh ya! 😯 What was I thinking! 🙄 I forget that there are even caches or cachers up here. 😉

997,008 caches now… less than 3000 left to go. Don’t think we’ll get the ones we’ve been working on out in time to be the lucky 1,000,000. 🙁

Whooooo! I’d have to some major running..er…snowshoeing, but I would have about 10 ready to go…….

Hey! I have that icon on one of my caches!! As a tongue in cheek kinda thing. No one seems to ever have noticed though.

I actually had it for my last event and someone noticed it and on one of my caches, ya need to.

That’s akin to saying “cheat at any card game or pool or darts or scrabble or whatever, because it’s just a game”.

You are mixing apples and oranges, in my opinion. The ‘games’ you mention do have rules.

But there still are no established rules for finding puzzle caches.

So my virtual armchair logging drive-by bus tour of all your caches is good to go? After all, I’m just going to log them under one of my own caches. No rules against that right?

    Pot, meet kettle.
