Tried mine out for the 1st time this year. Didn’t really need them thou. We didn’t get the snow that other parts of the state got.

Ya, it’s going to be like walking in sand until it warms up a bit and the snow settles and gets a crust. There are a few disignated snowshoe trails around here and it doesn’t take too long to get packed down and is almost easier to trek with out shoes.
