I got a pari of Atlas shoes for X-mas 2 years ago and they worky pretty slick. Nice and lite but they could be a little pricey. A good pair a handmand wooden one are about the same price too. I shoe with THREE LABS. They help brake trail in deep snow. But after a while a track will get packed down so it’s no big deal.

There’s a program called Cachemagnet that can convert your GPX data files so that each cache is a separate “note” on your iPod. Here’s a link to a youtube video demonstrating it with a Nano:

This means you need to be a premium member to get the pocket queries CacheMagnet needs. I suppose there’s ways to do it on the cheap with .loc files, and there are, I believe, different ways to do it, depending on if you’re a Mac user or Windows user. Or Linux.

best of all, cachemagnet is free.

iPod Touch/iPhone is a different beast, but still doable. Google it.

let us know on this thread if you try it out, and how it works.

    Cheers,

The program only works with ipod as far as I can tell. Thou you can download it to a Garmin or Megellin GPSr unit. There are also none very neat features and map stuff.

Since it’s coming up soon, what color is a 10K ammo can supposed to be?
    TBC

    Gold or Platnium??

10K would be gold, but a cheaper version. Save the gold one for 14K or 24K. 😉

    Congratulations, zuma!

    When does it go diamond?

We are too far north for anyone to even try conquering the area. The weather. wolves and bears are enough to keep most away, won’t need guards.

I thought anything north of Hwy 29 or is it Hwy 8 was too far for the masses to try to take invade anyhow??? 🙄 😉

I know! Well get a battallion of kamakzi deer and skunks to patrol the routes from the Lands of Micros & Puzzles. And maybe a few rabid Mud Ducks. That would make a good enuf reason to run the other way!
