Welcome to the WGA from Beloit WI, a bit of a haul to cache together but always good to have a PAF option in the area.
I have finally found at least one in all but the Northwoods biome. Total for me thus far 12 I think. This is a major accomplishment for me since this is the first year in a long time that I got a state park sticker. **gasp** Horrible, I know. Not a tradition that I will allow to resume.
My brother-in-law has one that is out and seems to be doing okay so far. It is hidden in another container with the log only in the puzzle box. It is GC5M4Q7 Clear as Mud. Good puzzle to keep too many prying hands from ruining the container.
I know we have a cougar sighting here in Rock Co. at Big Hills Park. Guess I need to add the “dangerous area” attribute to my cache there! The Milwaukee one is freaky though!
I am hoping to finish my D/T grid this year (Owls and Woodpeckers anyone?) and also working on WGA SP series. I have a loooong way to go on that one but enjoy seeing the beauty that our state has to offer. My son wants to visit all 50 state (not geocaching related) so I’ll see what I can do to help him with that as well.
I’ve only gotten 5 of them but have plans to work towards at least 1 in each biome this year. Hopefully more. I have lived here all my life and really underutilized our state park system.
I personally always use the waypoint averaging function on the GPSr and always hold it against the container because; like someone else mentioned, the difficulty should be about how well it’s hidden, not where it’s hidden. The idea is to have people find the containers after all.
Thanks for the info. Drives me nuts when I have a puzzle to solve and I lose it! Thank you for the replies.
Thanks for the offer. I know you have your hands full with a little project or two already.
Just got my account reset and perusing the “new” sight. Kudos and many thanks to Team Black Cat for the hard work and amazing new sight.
Those are both very impressive milestones! Congratulations!!
Salvador’s in Beloit has great food and a family atmosphere. Liked it enough to co-host a cache event there once.

Beloit, WI 53511Thanks for all the suggestions everyone. The one by Ecorangers may or may not count depending on the way the challenge is set up. I have that problem for “V” as well. I just wish that Groundspeak had a more easily sort-able site for various aspects. Not just dates and favorites, etc.
Just to let you all know, I have been able to get the Garmin Oregon recognized and upload GPX files to it from the Chromebook. I also have been able get PQs to work when transferred from the Chromebook.
