I ended up with Mom Lost Sunhat. Hope to send it on it’s way Saturday. Now the big decision as to where from?!?
I just requested one too. My daughter and son both get a kick out of this series. Thanks for posting a link.
Great milestone SG; and in an intriguing locale no less. Way to go! I’m green with envy.
I have given away 76 of my 100 favorite points. Sometimes it’s for creative cache containers, sometimes it’s for creative puzzles, sometimes it’s for creative hides. I really don’t think that I have ever given a P&G a favorite point. I like quality over quantity, not that I am above going and doing a load of LPCs when the mood strikes me.
I will cache as I usually do, but I certainly agree with BigJim. I like the idea of souvenirs for cool things like states and countries, or peculiar dates (i.e. 12-12-12), but it kind of takes the fun out of things when a whole bunch of souvenirs come so easily (or not so easily in my case). 😳
Welcome to the WGA. I have seen several of your logs on my caches. Feel free to email me with any questions about my puzzles. I’m in Rock Co. too. This is a great forum!
Some of my favorite caches around Rock county:
GC3JJN5
GC2F3NM
GC2YKXH
GC46RCF
GC3PN4TCertainly not all inclusive!
Way to go Dudenblt! You are flying up the numbers charts faster that I could ever keep up. And what an endeavor, with the power trail!
Way to go! An envy inspiring cache count!
Thanks gor the praise. Too bad I couldn’t go 5/5 today. Keeps me humble. Still consider myself a n00b at all this.
Done as well!
I finished this book earlier this week and found it thoroughly enjoyable! It was much better than the novella Serial Cacher. The plot was very well done and involved enough twists and turns to keep a non-cacher interested. It might even get someone interested enough to check out this little hobby/sport/addiction.
It has also given me an idea/nudge at a puzzle I want to do. I like all the ciphers. Totally recommended by me! 😀
Hi, I went out on a limb since I was using a very old laptop and purchased a new Chromebook. While I did not attempt to use the auto loading option for moving gpx files to the GPSr, it does recognize my Magellan and allows me to move the caches there one at a time. Probably not the best option for you “power cachers” but it does work. I will update this thread if and when I attempt a more complicated upload, like a PQ.
Check out Garmin’s site. They announced the new Oregons that share numbers with the Montana. **sigh** The smartphone option for Wherigo is not something I can seem to get to work properly. However, an older model would suffice I guess…
