Just got mine today in the mail. Thanks by the way for the heads-up. Mine came like others have stated, one normal without a tracking code and one small with the code. Guess I better get it activated and sent out into the world. Now, what shall I give it for a mission? Hmmmmm……
Thanks for the mention and the congratulations! I didn’t get to complete my #600 on my intended, however, this cache kept Beloit blacked out for me. It seems like I don’t get to go as much as I’d like so this was a long time coming!
Thanks Joe, I’ll send them your way with a little info as to what my idea is about.
I like cacheboxstore.com I have ordered a few things from them and have been satisfied each time.

I checked both opencaching sites and navicache. I thought of both those. It just seemed really strange. The logs were all all newer than the logs on the website.
Thanks ruff54. I have those 3 loaded already. Hoping to get them.[/list]
Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll take a peek and see what they are about.
Though I don’t own one, a Magellan eXplorist GC is too specific to just geocaching to get much enjoyment out of in my opinion. I have an eXplorist 310 which will allow the download of all sorts of different waypoint, geocaches, POIs, etc. A little more expensive but haven’t had many problems. Also they have a model 110 that is the same at the 310 with less memory. I like the refurb idea though!
I don’t waymark myself, though I have looked at the sight and can pick out quite a few locally at least.
Welcome. A lot of great folks here!

After you search by zip code on GC just click on the little blue ribbon at the top of the favorite column.
Okay, thanks very much. Why didn’t I think of that?
Sadly the first cache I ever found “One Stumped Turtle” is no more. I was so excited that day as I had been caching with some friends and went 0/3. On my way home solo, I got it. Been pretty well solo since (unless you count the kids along for the ride.
The park has a vacancy now and I am planning on finding a spot there to place one. There are quite a few along the Sugar River State Trail north of Brodhead. I don’t know if that helps. Also just across the border into Illinois, starting in Rockton, there is a nice trail that was former RR bed. It has several caches there as well.
Gives me hope that my travel tag will reappear.
