  • Wow!! I never knew there were so many caches in Hayward. Great Cache concentration area. I might have to go there soon anyway to log some finds. I dont mind campin KOA style just for the record. Sounds like a great time. Plenty of ‘real’ caches for the #’s instead of the controversial ‘temps’. I hope its a weekend I can attend. I’ll be watching for further postings.

I’d be interested in attending if the dates work etc. I’m also in favor of Hayward. Great area. Living in Superior its a little easier to get to than Eau Claire area. Just my .02 Thanks…

I jetted up to Gander Mt in Duluth on Friday night. Got the yellow Venture CX like the size and the color. Got it with some lake maps loaded. It is sweet I absolutely Love it. Just getting the hang of it now. I also applied for the gander mt card for 10% off. Thanks all for the advice….

I think the autorouting feature also seems like a bonus. I think that will help me get to caches quicker. I will look at the Legend Cx again though. Thanks…

I agree I would cruise the message boards first then hit the logs to check out who’s caching and where. Or where some new caches are approved at etc. Hope its just broke for now.

Way up north here in Superior I’ve got
    867 unfiltered
    788 filtered
    a geoevent .2 miles away
and 18 puzzle type within 10 miles
I’m not a big fan of the puzzles.
I thought the cache density was lower up here.

I was in Duluth Mn yesterday these two caches were nice but the area was even better and they are within waking distance to each other. GCNY28 & GCNRAQ

If you are going through Bayfield and of course you are stop at this one GCJXCC kinda downtown nothing special but a neat area by the Coast Guard station and a Great view of Madeline Island…Enjoy…

in reply to: Cigarmonkey passes the century mark #1757345

Hey thanks everyone. TeamHB it was just a few months ago you hit the century mark. Already you’ve doubled it. Congrats. I hope I can get their that quick but I already have some catching up to do. Well each cache is a great new adventure. I’ll be doing this for awhile…I hope they come up with a 12 step program for this in case for some awful reason I cant do it anymore….Later…Cigarmonkey
