Yep, that’s exactly it. I went to the doctor last week, but the cough is just continuing to hang on.  Thanks, it is better today, but wow, this is just crazy!

Three of my best qualities are:

 Dedicated – When I am committed to something, I am all in.  I do whatever it takes to get the jobs or tasks done, and I do it to the best of my ability.

Trustworthy – I believe in honesty, reliability and integrity.  At work I deal with confidential information, and have access to the company’s money, in which I am partially responsible for spending and saving it. I believe in keeping my word, and doing what is ethical and right.

Optimistic – I always try and look on the bright side of things.  Things may not always go well, but tomorrow is another day.

I knew that this would be a hard question to answer, as I have found so many great caches.  For me, it not just the cache itself, but also the events that happen, the places/things I see, and the people I may be with.  I could not narrow it down to one, but I have 6 that have really stood out to me, and remind me why I really enjoy geocaching. (Not in any particular order).

GC5XXN6 – 1538 Sharknado Ate – This cache had me laughing out loud. It was raining pretty good when I found this cache, and the laughs made it all worth it.

GC9E5E – Dr. Evermore & Lady Eleanor – This cache took me to an interesting place, that I probably would not have visited otherwise. We had a lot of fun wandering around, taking photos and checking everything out.

GC3GHDV – Pezzo/G1 Amazing Race – This cache had me stumped for quite a while. I was with a friend who I was showing what geocaching was. I was fairly new myself, and I won’t even say how long we were there, but it was pure triumph when I made the tricky find.

GCJ3MM – Snake Bite – As I mentioned in another post, I enjoy the long hikes to find caches. This was a perfect example of it. Creative WP’s, and a beautiful fall day. I had a lot of fun tracking this one down.

GC5JBCW – Trebuchet – This is such a creative cache. I brought my father out to do this one with me, and we had so much fun with it. We were both amazed at the time and effort that was put into this one, and I love the creativity!

GC9178 – Glow In the Dark – This was my very first time doing a night time cache.  I went with a group of other cachers, and while it was again pouring, we had a really good time.  We almost missed the cache itself, but thankfully someone was able to “kick” it up.  Lots of laughs were had here, and that again is why I enjoy caching.

At this time I cannot say that I plan on changing anything.  If elected, and there is opportunity to make changes, I believe it will be a joint effort to make those decisions.  As for contributions, I will help out with whatever is needed, to get the tasks done.  I can bring some new thoughts and ideas to the board, and will do my best to help the WGA fulfill it’s goals.

I think if the vote doesn’t go my way, it’s not always a bad thing.  Perhaps the other person was just better, or they had better ideas and plans. I think it’s a learning opportunity, to see what works and what doesn’t work.  The important thing is you’re not always going to get what you want.  Learn from it, reflect on it, and move on to try again. You can’t change it, so use it to make your plans/thoughts better the next time.

Oh, I’ve failed at a lot of things in life.  Tests, getting the job I really wanted, obtaining some personal goals…etc., but I don’t sit and dwell on them.  I firmly believe that what doesn’t kill you, will make you more strong.  I get back up, rework my plan to try again.
