I was going to find a place for one (or at least see if there was a place to hide one) on page 57, but I didn’t make it up there last weekend… and I probably won’t be able to get there until Labor Day weekend. So I’d say go ahead and hide one.

I’m going to be camping, and K0RPL will be joining me, along with my sister Jen from Ohio and her boyfriend.. We will be camping at Pine Wood(I’m sure that’s the right one, can’t seem to be remember the correct name, but i know its Pine something.. hmm.. better check on that..)

My question was to my sister, the one who got me into geocaching. Well she didn’t tell me what we were doing and she had Dad’s gps and we were in Ludington MI, it was the weekend i moved to WI. And we started on the hunt. And Even though dad has had the GPS for 2 3 years now i never bothered to know how it works.. and while we were hunting i looked at Jen and asked How do you know what your looking? and how do you know your there?
Yea now looking back at it.. i feel really dumb..

I just want to thank everyone who came and challenged the Gauntlet! It was a great weekend! and I’m glad for everyone who came.. And Lil Otter, thank you for letting us camp in your backyard.. and it was great to sit around the not fire-fire ring and chat with you Friday night and having the fire Saturday night..it was a great weekend and Thanks again to everyone (oh and just for you guys to know, dad made it home in one piece. he went across the Badger Sunday night… and he had a blast he was glad he came!) now i just need to get my sister up here to attempt the Gauntlet but she is just refusing.. i wonder why.. 😉

Hey all!
Only a couple more days left til We challenges the Gauntlet… For those who haven’t heard yet (or got the email i sent out) Saturday morning we are meeting up at 9am in the parking lot near WPT1.. For those that want to join us for dinner after wards are more then welcome to join us.. might hit a couple of caches after the Gauntlet if there is time so make sure you do a PQ… I won’t be able to reply to any emails at my home email.. (sorry will be at work starting tomorrow all the way up til Friday)

Just the word for the wise.. watch out for those deer.. they are some sneaky guys.. i will not be in my own car as its now in the body shop waiting for parts from a run in with a deer two Fridays ago.. (another reason why i haven’t been on lately been dealing w/ insurance company and the body shop) I’m sure with most of you being from the area you know all about them.. i should too being from Ohio, but the darn thing came out of nowhere! oh well…

But anyway.. See ya all on Saturday or the ones who are camping see ya Friday night!

Well i just discovered yesterday, from my parents that the Pop-up camper has been broken, the lift system for it has broken, and the top came crashing down, so big change of plans!, now its just going to be my dad who is coming, and depending on weather he will be driving his motorcycle from Ohio (crazy!!) so my mom, sister and brother-in-law will not be going now, so no dinner at Lil Otters on Saturday, we can have dinner somewhere around where The Gauntlet…
Also i had gotten a email from Marc, suggesting that we make up a hit list of caches to do in the area, especially for those of us that are staying for the weekend, so if anyone has any suggestions about other caches in in the area that we should do, please give me some suggestions!! (Lil Otter!!)

anyway… so disregard the money part for chipping into for the food!
